- The exposure in the university is good . Good laboratories and knowledable professors . Also helps in the job seeking after the completetion of the course. Make a suitable base for further research.
Dislikes
- Professor are sometimes rude without any reason. Slightly old building
Course Curriculum Overview :
As food science is an emerging field. The curriculum is well prepared and updated regulary so helps us to understand new knowledge. Exams timing is in every 6 months.However the exams are easy to pass if one study during the course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
11915 rupees was paid in the first year and same amount was paid in second year. It includes all the charges like lab fees exam fees develeopment fees etc. Sc/St students whose income is below 2 lakhs pay only 500 rupees
Campus Life :
Campus life is amazing and gives a good exposure . As it is one of the best university in haryana in terms of education and infrastructure . Also a good infrasturcure for sports as well. Cultural prograams also organised every month. Annual fest organised in nov to dec.
Admission :
I also applied to forensic science in mdu campus . Just my intrest was in food science so i take food science. As the admission is entirely based on entrance examination . Other colleges also i applied as i dont make into them as they were taking admissions on the basis of the graduation score.
Faculty :
There is a 1:20 faculty ratio in lectures and for dissertation a 1:6or 7 ratio . Dr jyotika dhankhar is a specialist for dairy technology and fruit and vegetable technology. Exams are moderately difficult and 4 to 6 exams are in each semester and if you study moderately you will easily clear . The curriculum is really relevant to industry and competetive exams.
