- The exposure that you get in whichever field you are enrolled is something that I like about LPU.
- The environment of LPU is so vibrant and diverse. It feels like a mini India.
Dislikes
- The timetable goes like 9-5 which is definitely a drawback for people who are preparing for competitives because you won't get any self time.
- The university won't accept any excuse as you why your attendance is short. You've to be regular in order to fulfill the your attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
LLM is masters degree which toh pursue after LLB or BA.LLB. LPU provides the best masters as they are not only focusing on the theoretical but also the practical aspect of the course. They make learning so easy that you won't have to worry about the field work when you get out in the field.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good in LPU. The average package for Law courses are 4 lacs. The highest package was of 13 lac which is pretty good for freshers out of law school. Overall the packages are good. And I think it could be better seeing the reach of the university.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of Lovely Professional University, Phagwara for the course of LLM is 2.4 lacs for one year. You have to pay the fees in two installments, half of the fees is to be paid in first semester and other half in the second semester. You can avail scholarship upto 50% by giving LPUNEST. There's a separate fees of 4500 which is the examination fees for each semester.
Campus Life :
The overall environment of the university is good. There are many fun activities to do. There are many co-curriculum activities that is going on in the university any time you visit. Recently many of the LPU students have performed very well in the Olympics which include the famous names such as Vinesh Phogat.
Admission :
I choose this college for learning new things and getting the field experience. The university provides you field experience and practical knowledge which you won't get in government institutions. It has the same curriculum as of NLUs. So if after any NLU, I would want to go for higher studies, I would recommend LPU.
Faculty :
The faculty of Law Department is top-notch. You are into an environment where you would experience great learning and get the best outcome out of it. The exam are held in two phases, one is mid terms, generally held in September end and another being the end terms which take place in December. The marks are divided accordingly.
