  • The teaching method is kind of average and because it is autonomous the syllabus as a little tuff
  • And formal outfit is mandatory from Monday to Friday and jeans and coloured t shirts are allowed only on Saturday

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose B.Com regular as it was a foundation and also i could focus on other professional courses like CA. All the syllabus is based on real world problems like case study as it has autonomy advantages. Improvements can be made in the fields in teaching like could teach slowly. For the end semester exams 3 hours of tile would be given and the difficulty level is a little hard .

Internships Opportunities :

The college helps to get internship opportunities from various companies. Some of the top companies like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, EY come for placement and internship every year and also their placements average package is like 500000 and highest package falls like 2200000

Placement Experience :

To be eligible for placements the student must have no backlogs and must maintain a minimum of 7.5 cgpa and also they provide internships in the second year which is mandatory, both social internship and co-operate internship must be completed in the second year and they also teach skills which are useful in future like tally and advanced Excel.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well, i paid 87000 for my first year in B com including rs 5000 which is a non refundable fee which has to be paid only in the first year and for the 2nd and 3rd year the academic fee might increase to approximately rs 5000 maximum. And also there re plenty of scholarship available in sjcc i.e., management scholarship and osa scholarship based on both merit and economically weaker sections.

Campus Life :

We had festivels like kalostav which is culturals and many more activities. In the association which provide many activities which provide exposure to the real world improves communication and social engagement in the real world. The class rooms consist of good facilities like they also consist of 4 power sockets in each bench for each student. Also they do have sports and extracurricular activities offered in the campus

Admission :

The addmission process went smoothly and we had interviews and I chose sjcc college as there are good placement and also now its ranked 55th by the nirf in 2024 in the whole india and and also because it had good reputation.

Faculty :

There are a lot of rules like only Balck pen is allowed and no additional answer sheet will be given and the exam papers will be evaluated digitally. Talking about the faculty they are very approachable and helpful in all ways. There are midterm exams and end semester exams. And teachers like patracia ma'am, Fiona ma'am are very approachable and others like sheela ma'am are a little strict.

Placement Experience:

As am currently pursuing a course called ACCA. I have to write exams and there are other plans of doing MCom. After the 5th sem, the students get the chance to take part in campus placements. there are many multinational and regional companies that attend the fair so there is no problem of searching for jobs. companies like EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered etc attend the fair. The companies offer more than 30000 packages for the new placements. Multinationals almost offer more packages and there are other multinationals who offer less, the money is not the issue but the quality of experience that is being gained is what counts. The ones who clear the interview will get the placements. Almost 90% of the students get placements. My plan is to take up MCOM to get a double degree. And am currently doing ACCA along with BCOM.

Remarks:

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
