Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose civil course this has many different subject practically divided into parts from lower to slowly higher, the practicals of every subjects are really helpfull they actually get you ready for the outside world you can actually get a job right after completing your diploma its seriously good, the improvement could be the teachers should interact with the students more often so they can focus while in practical or theory lecture and they feel more involved

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At the 3rd year of the college students get internship in the 2nd semester lf the 3rd year, everyone has a really high chance of getting good companies for internship as its a government college and more companies contant government colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees is very less even for the general caste For the first year its around 10 thousand for 2nd year its around 12 thousand and for 3rd year its around 12 thousand aswell the fee structures are very basic and straightforward, for reserved castes the fees gets even lower and they even get scholarships for SC the fees is around 4 thousand per year

Campus Life

4

As i am a bit of a introverted kid i dont take part in club activities that often, as for my friend love joining the sport clubs social groups etc having them around sometimes also gives me the courage to join some activities which i enjoy alot due to my friends

Admission

I chose this college first because of the fees, secondly i heard great things about this college and its faculties, third the practicals here are really good thus i had selected this college, this was my second pick though, i had first selected VJTI college even tho the fees was higher there still the over all college was better more or less, anyways the admission process is fairly simple you can et accepted through cap round after 10th or 12th or you can even get through non cap but i would recommend trying on cap rounds first

Faculty

4

The course structure varies in every semester, you need to do course registration every new semester, The college faculties are very nice and very helpfull as i am very clumsy i keep forgetting my hall ticket sometimes some teachers let you print it out again and they are over all very kind some are very strict but at the bottom they are soft aswell

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good. In order to get a good package you must have a good cgpa around 7-8. If you have a good cgpa. You can get a good job offer with a annual pay for 5-6 lakhs. I plan to do btech/be after diploma. That,ll help me get a good placement. I can do btech here only if i manage to get enough percentage in my final year. If i couldn't i plan to get admission in keystone school of engineering which is a good college for engineering degree. Mostly infotech and proazure hire the most. There are other companies too. Around 60 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rating of course curriculum of my college (PCP) the scale :- 1-5 | 5 = Excellent. • Relevance - 3.5/5(industry aligned but need modernization). • Comprehensiveness - 3/5(Cover basics but lacks interdisciplinary depth) Key aspects influencing course :- 1). Technical foundation - core engineering discipline(mechanical, civil, computer, etc)with a focus on fundamental skill. 2). Practical training - labs, workshop and internship linked to local industries. 3). Affordability and accessibility - polytechnic program at PCP are cost- effective and provide early entry into technical careers. My college has a robust foundation for technical education but requires strategic update to stay competitive.

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the heart of a student’s college or advanced learning experience. Curriculum is a college or university’s primary means of guiding students directions. Curricula should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis, better to serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculties are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high quality, fair outcomes for everyone.
