- I liked the peaceful environment the most. The campus is mostly covered with the greenery and is also very big (about 850 acres).
- The hostel rooms and mess is also very good. Also there is a special meal every Tuesday.
Dislikes
- The thing that every girl hates here is that it is a closed campus and in order to go outside even for 1 hour you neend the permission of your parents.
- The faculties are good but the curriculum and academics are not good in my course. They focus more on assignments and answer writing.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum involves, two subjects of Arts and three subjects of law basically. In law subjects, the curriculum is 40% of the total law. In Arts subject, the curriculum is easy and relevant. Basically each subject contains 5 units and after completion of basically 1 or 2 units periodical 1 occurs. Same after completion of unit 3 periodical 2 occurs. After the completion of all units semester exams are organised. While the curriculum is good but it does not prepare you for real world. The practical application is lacking.
Placement Experience :
The placements here are only average and below average as compared to other universities. The highest placement was of 16,00,000 in B.Tech. Apart from this not much placement is offered in this University. You can say it has an average placement of 3 lakh. If we talk about the employability in my course, then yes we will go out from here as advocates with salary of average 4.9 lakh. Various employability options are available for law students after taking degree from here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of my course is like that - 2,40,000 per year which have to be paid in installments of 1,20,000 approximately each semester. It includes all the hostel fee, mess charges, tution fee, and security charges. Yes this college offers scholarship but to a very limited number of students.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good. There are many festivals and fests that are celebrated. The dandiya nights in navratri, Dussehra, Apaji mela, lohri and holi and many more festivals are celebrated here with joy. There are separate fests for all departments. 2n.O is the fest of our law department and management department. The infrastructure in the departments is also very good. Modern classrooms with mic and speakers, projector and amphitheatre type seats. There are a huge number of extra curricular activities like a many many of them. Whatever may be your interest, you will surely find here, whether it be dance or sports or art or whatever. There are several social groups here as well. One of the most popular club of our law department is the pro-bono club. It helps needy people with free legal advice.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel are really really very good. They are like hotel rooms for students. The study table is very classy with a table light. The bed is very good. The chair is very good. And there is a lot of free space in room as well. The hostel mess is quite good. The meal is quite good. We are given 4 meals a day, the breakfast, the lunch, evening snacks and dinner. All are very good. Apart from this there is a special meal offered on Tuesday. Every hostel here cost arround 30,000 and the registration process for hostel is easy. All the students who take admission here, it is necessary for them to register in a hostel, until their residence fall within 60miles (not sure).
Admission :
This University is a women's University, which is very popular in Rajasthan and nearby areas. My father came to know about it through a friend. Then he decided to take me to this University. We were called upon for counseling and admission one day. The counselling process is very hectic????. You have to just run from one room to another. After one and a half week I was called upon for hostel allotment. I was allotted the hostel 'Kulum' which very much neat and clean. The environment is also very good here. The wardens are also friendly.
Faculty :
There are limited number of faculties in each subject. The faculties are friendly but sometimes are very strict. They have a good command over their field. The exams are held simultaneously for all departments and courses in Banasthali. There are two periodicals and one semester exam in each semester. The periodicals carry 10 marks each and the semester is of 60 marks. Apart from this, there are 4 assignments of 5 marks in each subject, in each semester. In exams, students (specially is law students) are expected to write as much as they can and big answer writings are supported. Most of the students score average. The course curriculum help us only understand 40% of our law.
