Kerala's best college for Media Courses

When I opted for the course I looked into the syllabus thoroughly.I saw every relevant softwares taught in this course. The curriculum actually provides us only with basic knowledge needed to get a starting to the career.Rest all are taught by our faculties from their experiences.They teach us considering real life problems. Rest all lies in our hardwork and our portfolio. I would like to say that the curriculum should be changed according to the present scenario. Exams are conducted regularly and are within our level of teaching.to be honest the exams are much simpler than what taught in the class.So that helps to meet real life situations

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester.Students with high talent and good portfolio are placed first.Our teachers also recommend us to some companies. I don't have much details about the companies but all are studios All students who perform well in academics gets a placement. My plans after graduation is to pursue a post graduation from abroad

The fees structure of the course is as follows- There are 6 semesters.Per semester we have to give an amount of 35000.So per year we will have to pay 70000. While taking the admission I have paid an amount of 59000.It included my first semester fees and admission fee. After the college starts we have to pay 5000 rupees for uniform. When exam comes we have to pay the exam fee which is directed to the university.The amount varys per exam. No other fund is taken from us. If we opt for the hostel then we have to pay the bus fees also.A semester's fees is paid together.That is 4800. Hostel fee is 6000 per month.We have to pay a caution deposit of 5000.This amount will be returned if we vacate the hostel after 1 year.If we vacate before 1 year then the amount will not be refunded. There is no relaxation on the fees based on the category as it is a self financing course. If you are eligible then you may get scholarships from Kerala government.

We have a college fest every year which is usually conducted in November.We can showcase our talent during the fest which lasts for two days.Other than this we have onam celebration in September and Christmas celebration in December.We also have department wise competitions and fests conducted by each departments throughout the year.It includes cultural programs as well as sports. We have a library in our campus which has both our course related books and fictions too.We can access it any time. Our classroom has a big tv which is used by teachers to teach us .each bench has plug points for us to connect our laptops.all classrooms are under cctv surveillance. We have many clubs in our college .They also conduct many cultural programs and competitions. So the college not only focuses on curriculum but also on co-curriculum.

I did look for other colleges while searching for this course.I considered De Paul institute and Sacred hearts college.But after looking through these colleges i found the best facilities in Yeldo Mar baselios college. It is only college that fulfills all the facilities needed for an animation student with seperate labs for each subject and equipments for shooting and shooting floors.We also have smart classrooms. The admission process is done through Mahatma Gandhi University 's official site.We get alloted according to our 12th grade mark.There is a small interview conducted by the college.A student who passed 12th grade with a minimum of atleast 55% can apply for this course.Others with a diploma course can also apply.They only make us pay a small amount as admission fee compared to other colleges i looked for. Overall the course is affordable considering other colleges.

Each subject is taught by each faculty.The faculties are all cool and fun.They are so experienced at the field of their studies. They all have a good experience in the industry as well. I can't name any of the teachers because all are good.They all talk to us like their friends.When they see us outside the class also they talk to us Everyone is so pleasant and reliable.We can talk about anything to them.In our course we only have a female teacher and rest all are male teachers. There is an exam after each semester.College conducts an internal exam and a model exam semester wise. Theory subject teachers conduct a class test after every chapter. According to me course only provides the base of every subject taught..rest all are in our hands We get placed according to the quality of our porfolio
