- As a fresher i found the curriculum to be very strict and there is much discipline in all aspects. College infrastructure is average to Good, Clean campus, Full AC Classrooms.
- Teachers are very determined, educated and supportive too. It is easy to get help of any kind. There is no ragging at all as there are very strict rules.
Dislikes
- There is too much strictness which i didn't like because it feels like you are still in school. College hours are too much(9-5).
- Internship support seem less as i heard from the seniors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I cannot comment on that as i am just a fresher. Though the course is NBA certified. As told by faculty the curriculum seems to prepare us well for future. In future i may edit my review as i get more experience.
Internships Opportunities :
It will be too early for me to comment on this, But heard from seniors that getting intership is not easy if you are applying during campus/acadmics. But during you third year you get time to do inernships and the college also supports.
Placement Experience :
From semester 6-7 you can go for interships and placements. There are a lot of companies which recruits students like TCS, Tech mahindra, wipro and the list goes on. Highest packages are offered for CSE students. In 2024 a student got 22 LPA package. After getting the degree my plan is to target companies like MAANG.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
-> Fees structure (All fee is subject to change as per management decision) 1st year Rs. 117375 2nd year Rs. 107375 3rd year Rs. 107375 4th year Rs. 104375 -> Rs. 11000 - Registration Fees -> Rs. 2500 - University pre-enrolment charges -> Rs. 60000 - Uniform charges -> Students can apply for state government schemes. -> Some fees is exempted based on your 10+2 PCM score.
Campus Life :
The college hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year, with the most popular being Utkarsh, an annual highlight. In addition to the festivities, there are several active clubs and societies, including cultural, literary, and hobby clubs, as well as the Computer Science Students' Society. These groups frequently organize activities and events, keeping the campus buzzing with energy. Guest lectures and events are also regularly scheduled, and students have opportunities to go on trips. When it comes to sports, the college offers both indoor and outdoor options. Indoor games include table tennis, chess, and carrom, while outdoor activities range from badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, to soccer. The sports club plays an active role in organizing tournaments, making sure there's always something exciting happening for sports enthusiasts.
Admission :
I secured a seat at NIT Agartala but couldn't join due to the distance from my home. Later, I also got a CSE seat at BIET Jhansi, but family reasons prevented me from enrolling there. Eventually, I joined my current college through UPTAC counselling. The admission process here was smooth and straightforward after being allotted a seat, I just had to submit the fees and necessary details, and my admission was confirmed without any issues. To gain admission here, you need to appear for JEE Mains and score at least 70 percentile. Admission is relatively easy if you apply early, so don't wait too long to start the process.
Faculty :
The student ratio of girls to boys is about 1:4. The faculty members are both strict and supportive, deeply committed to teaching and helping students succeed. While most teachers strike a good balance, a few are particularly strict, making it feel a bit like being back in school. The semester is divided into two internal class tests CT1 and CT2. Each test carries 20 marks, and an additional 10 marks are based on teacher assessment, making a total of 30 internal marks. The end-of-semester exam contributes 70 marks to the final score.
