Really good Infrastructure & Facilities but average faculty members.

Remarks :

The entire admission process is online, from applying to interview and fee payment. The only eligibility criteria for non sponsored category is passing 10th & 12th with 60% & 60% in PCM whereas, for the non-sponsored category, 5/% relaxation is given. There is no scholarship given based on category but on the basis of merit. 100 % Scholarship is given on scoring more than 95% in 12th boards and 50 % on scoring more than 90% in 12th boards. One can continue that scholarship by getting the highest SGPA in the batch every year.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main reason behind choosing this course is to get a good placement. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:30. Faculty members of the college are the same as any other engineering college in the country, most of them are qualified but lack teaching skills but some faculty members are also present who are not qualified for the job. The course curriculum is updated every year to make students industry-ready but it is really up to an individual whether he/she can make the most out of it. The semester exams are easy most of the time, with exceptions and even if you start your preparations a week before the exam, you will get a very decent SGPA.

Internships Opportunities :

Almost all the students get internship opportunities in the third year. Some of these companies provide PPO(Pre-Placement Offer) also. Major internship-providing companies are Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Shell, D E Shaw, Reliance, Aditya Birla, etc. Most of them give stipends ranging from 20000 to 100000 per month.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. In the placement session 2020-21, a total of 340 companies visited the campus and 2280 offers were made. The average CTC offered was 5.0 LPA, the lowest CTC offered was 3.5 LPA and the highest CTC offered was 21.5 LPA, which was offered by Goldman Sachs. The profiles offered were of consulting, IT, etc. Major recruiting companies include DS Shaw, Cisco, Google, Shell, and Amazon. Almost everyone gets an internship in the 3rd year of college. Getting a dream company and a high package above 10 LPA is not impossible but you have to put in an extra effort as it is not a government engineering college. The placement cell is great and tries its best to get everyone placed. The placement percentage was almost 100% in the 2020-21 session as most of the companies participating were mass recruiters like Capgemini & Accenture. I want to continue with higher education after getting my degree if I do not get a good CTC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you have more than 95% in 12th, you will get a 100% scholarship and if you have more than 90% in 12th, you will get a 50% scholarship. You can maintain that scholarship by getting the highest SGPA in your batch every year. The college provides internship opportunities to almost everyone. The fee structure of the course is a little bit on the higher side but considering the return on investment, it is justified.

Campus Life :

Amity is famous for its fests and extracurricular activities like AYF (Amity Youth Fest) and Sangathan (Amity's Annual Sports Meet). The library of amity is like a 5-star hotel. It is one of the best in the country and boasts a huge collection of books and journals. The whole campus is air-conditioned. Every classroom has a projector and every lab is well equipped with all the instruments and devices. There are a lot of clubs active in the university which are conducting various activities in the college all around the year.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel provided has two categories - AC & NON-AC. The NON-AC room costs 85000/year whereas the AC room costs 165000/year. The hostel is well equipped with all the modern amenities like the water cooler, wi-fi, a common room with TV, hot water, etc. The AC rooms are provided with a small refrigerator too. Hostels are the best part of the campus and college life. The food provided doesn't taste like homemade food but it is better than the food in other colleges in the country. The registration process & fee payment for the hostel is online. Although this fee is affordable considering the locality of Noida, many students live outside the campus in rented flats/PGs because of the restrictions imposed on hostellers on moving out of the campus.

Interview Experience :

The selection process consists of answering two questions. The applicants need to make video recordings of themselves answering each question and upload them on the admission website. The first question is to introduce yourself to test your English language skills and the second question is based on Class 12th PCM.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite low but in the last 2 years since 1st hackathon of Ineuron, the placement drive are improving. I hope it will keep on improving in future. The UNESCO event was a great marketing opportunity for our college which promoted its ranking in the colleges.

6th semester is when you become eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Adobe, Capgemini, Infosys, tcs, hcl, havells, byjus, ibm, etc. are now regular takers from here around 98% of students are placed every year. those who wish for higher studies are the ones who don't get the placements, but the maximum is placed in good companies. the highest package for this year was from amazon of 19 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was quite good when comparing to other colleges of UP. But the majority of them were mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro etc. But some good startups also hire from our colleges like Paytm, Gradeup etc... In recent years top MNC were also visited JSS like Adobe, Amazon etc. The highest package was 42 lakhs which was given by Adobe and the average were 5 lakh. Almost 70-75% students got placed in my branch ie, CSE who sit in the placements. Currently my plan is to secure a good placement.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements, many companies visit like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro and many more, these are the mass recruiters, the highest salary was 22LPA offered from Adobe and 3LPA is the average salary, around 80% actually placed from on campus placements in 4 days. I will prepare for the DRDO exam after my graduation. Placements opportunities are given to students here at the max.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is the worst. There have no good companies that came into the college. And the companies that came for campus placements were only startups, some were sales and marketings. Every company had major bonds and less salary. If any students want to join a good top fortune 500 companies of India, then he/she has to apply for outside of campus placement.

Remarks:

Yes, bad remark is the security fee they do not refund at the time of degree they asked to show the original slip of security fee deposit and i think they don't have any reason to ask for that just because they don't want to return.
