Facilities are really good . Like swimming and ground facilities.

The class duration is very lengthy it should be upto 2 only.
Food facilities should be improved and hygiene.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very promising to placements. It includes swinning games and alround development of self.the course only includes subjects that help in working on board. Exams are conducted term wise and its ok for everyone.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 900000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per term we pay 1,22,500.00 rs.,caution deposit of 30000 ,there are scholarship like nsp and ssp.there are scholarships available for people from lakshadweep and also from special states. Placements do not include any of the resevation.

Campus Life :

Festivals in campus include navgati which is celebrated yearly basis. Other festivals are nautica which is also conducted annually in various maritime universities, sports competitions are also held inter house and inter IMU.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are just good . In hostel 1 room for 3 persons , the meal is also excellent , various menu is set on weekly basis. Food from all over india is cooked here there is no different registration required for hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per year

Admission :

I applied for Indian maritime university kochi, i got admission confirmed but in Chennai campus the placements ratio is very high compared to kochi campus, facilities are better in Chennai campus. That's why. I chose Chennai campus

Faculty :

Teachers are really good the ratio of student to teacher is about 1:10 . I like mr Manivannnan sir as he makes the subject simple for us to learn. I dont like mrs. Jerlin as she is ax little rude to people. We have sem wise exams, difficulty is from moderate to hard.

Hidden stories of my College

Placement Experience:

For placement selection students should not have arrears on his history and also get 70% of marks to select in placement from third they start a placement section and practice for our placement there are many companies visited like Zoho, Accenture and aerospace aviation etc... The higher package was 70 lacks per year package and the average package was 2.5 lacks per year offered in placement and the company.My plans is to study PG After my graduation .

Placement Experience:

There wasn't much support for people who studied in psychology department because the placement was for sales and bpo sector nothing much was available for us. 5th and 6th sem that is the last sem was the time when students were eligible for placement. Skolar, mahathi soft tech, rnd softtech and offers were there were local companies. Highest package was 5 to 6 LPA and the average package was 2 LPA. 30 to 50 percent of students got placed. I am working as a Language trainer.

Placement Experience:

The placements are best in this college. VIT Is known for Its placements and the highest package is 88LPA with average 8LPA. TOP MNC companies come here and companies like GOOGLE, Microsoft, Intel hire students. If incase on campus placement was not offered then also there would not be much problem because the skills that are taught in the course are advanced and it is easy to get a job with all these skills. The fourth semester students are usually eligible for placements usually the onces who have Completed their total number of credits. Since our course was started, 2 batches passed out, the highest package was 22LPA by intel and last batch out of 45, 25 were placed with many in intel with more than 14+LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to work with a startup company for 2 years and then get experience.
