College journey

Remarks :

Overall the life at RDIAS at PG level is very professional. The feeling of having a corporate culture is provided to the students so that they can adjust easily when they will enter the corporate world.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curricular is designed in a manner so that the student can have both theoretical as well as practical exposure by having industrial visits and live projects. Summer and winter internships are also there to be done by the student to enhance industrial working knowledge. Semester examinations are conducted by University and internal exams are conducted by the institute itself.

Placement Experience :

RDIAS provides internships as well as having good placement records over several years. I have completed almost one year in this college. As per my observation, the college provides a lot of opportunities to students for getting placed in much-reputed companies. They provide a very nice salary package and training as well in order to help them stand confident in the corporate world. Placement and job opportunities are very high and they offer more than the students expect, with almost 80% placement record in top companies of Delhi and providing with a package as huge as 10 lakhs per annum. Companies like TOI, PAYTM, AMAZON, Byjus, etc, recently recruited top students from the whole batch.

College Events :

RDIAS conducts various events each year at national and international level. Some recent events conducted by RDIAS are as follows : 1. Anusandhan Pratiyogita 2019: Annual Research Competition, 2. Faculty Development Programme on Time Series and Panel data, 3. Role of digital marketing channels in electoral campaign 2019 in India, 4. Theatre Performances at RDIAS: Street and Stage play, 5. Conference on Emerging Trends in Management Practices 2019.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees for MBA at RDIAS for the First year are Rs. 145000 including student activity fees, alumni fund, library fees, security deposit, etc. Out of this Rs. 12000 are refundable. In the second year, the fees reduce and come to Rs. 133000. No hidden charges are there at RDIAS.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Various scholarships are available to students based on the category of the student provided by the university, state govt. and central govt. But for the student of general category, only EWS scholarship is available at PG level and that is also based on the judgment made by the university representative after having one to one interaction with students and their parents.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is supposed to be 3:2 for boys and girls and campus life is like awesome to the students. Many extracurricular activities are conducted at RDIAS and annual sports meet is also organized by the college as well as the university. RDIAS has three computer labs and all the classrooms are well furnished, air conditioner, with projectors.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are very helpful to their juniors. They are very supportive as one can ask for help from any alumni regarding college projects, placements, and career guidance.

Admission :

The firstly online application process is followed through the university's website with a nominal fee of Rs. 1000/-. Then the candidate is required to crack the entrance test named IPUCET. On the basis of rank scored in the entrance test colleges are being allotted according to the preference filled by the candidate online.

Faculty :

It is a perfect college if you wish to get guidance for career enhancement. Faculty members of the college are the best. They help you in managing your studies and getting rid of personal issues. They are really very helpful in making one a perfect personality in the corporate sector. Faculty of my college is the most friendly and cooperative, they are willing to work more than you for you if you give your 100%, a full package of knowledge and yes there are few who actually give a hard time but that doesn't make a difference. HOD, Director, Heads these are the most senior members of the group but also the most friendly with every teacher.

Placement Experience:

Final placements start in the month of November. Many MNCs, startups, foreign companies and companies from different sectors visits the campus for summer internships and final placements as well. Placement activities take place in 2 phases. Profiles offered by the companies are at par the positions offered to IIM and other B School graduates. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year. Highest placement goes up to 32 lakhs, the average is 22 lakhs and the median package is 20 lakhs. The figures are almost the same for all the specializations that DMS offers. There are enormous opportunities for students of each specialization. Overall placement scenario at DMS is good.
