Course Curriculum Overview :

There is a lot of practical knowledge given to you by the mode of internships and mootcourts. That enhances our journey of learning even better. There are knowledge sessions done to shed light on different aspects of law that we can opt for. The frequency of exams is every 2 months and again the difficulty depends on the subject.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships were given every even semester till 4th year and from 4th year we have an internship to be done every semester. We have to work at a law firm, district court, high court,NGO's and Libraries. By far I have worked at law firms twice. Once at district court and once at high courts. Once we are back to college we'll have to attend a viva and submit all our internship reports which contain what we've learnt in the course of our internship

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee i am paying for my tuition is 1,05,000.It has been the same since I have joined. There was no admission fee as such. I had to give an exam to get into my course for which i had to pay a registration fee of rs 800. I have availed scholarship on the basis of my GAT percentage. We can avail other scholarships based on CAT.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of festivals held in the college which is another great thing about this college. There is a GUSSAC FEST,KALAKRITI FEST,SANSKRITI FEST,TRI UN FEST and etc. The college gives us the students great opportunities to work on our arts, interests and sports. A lot of social groups are also held such as rotract club, and clubs for animal welfare and etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is very good at the start but by time they have ridiculously increased the fee making it very hard for the Students. When questioned the students were asked to vacate without any hesitation. The food is good at time and worse. The registration process is again same as college to apply online where we have to pay 10,000 caution deposit and 15,000 every year for infrastructure development.

Admission :

The reason why I opted for the college,I would say the name it has made in the world. It is very well known and very renowned college. I have not applied to any other colleges. There is a test taken,an entrance examination if you have not given CLAT or LSAT. You'll have to attempt GAT.Then you'll be selected on the basis of that and your scholarship also. Then is when you have a personal interview round and then you are selected.

Faculty :

The faculty student relationship is very nice but then again depends upon the lecturer and the line they draw between themselves and the students. To start with I love reethu ma'am,she has filled in confidence in me and the way she taught the subject has made everything easy. There are two exams to be given every semester. They are mid term and end term again the level of difficulty depends upon the subject.

Interview Experience :

I have faced an interview in the process of my admission into the college. That again was a very new experience as I have never faced any previously. The questions were very basic and tricky as to why would we opt for the course and why would we want to get into law. I have prepared by reading books.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in comparison to the other colleges. They have an average package of 7 LPA. Last year a btech student received a package of 63 LPA from a big company. The company or firms visited here are Infosys, TCS, Luthra & Luthra, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. 80% of every student are placed every year in top companies or firms.

Remarks:

The location of our university is a village near sabbavaram, leaving us with very less facilities, like no food delivery through zomato or swiggy.

I completed my LLB from Anantha College of Law. I like the whole course duration very much. I learnt a lot during my education here and the moot court facility also helped us gracefully practice our court presentations,
