Course Curriculum Overview :

I have been studying psychology since 5 years, in 11th, 12th and then in graduation. So it influenced me to study more about psychology. In today's world people are very much stressed, they are suffering from different disorders, so to help these kind of people i start studing psychology.

Internships Opportunities :

As for masters in psychology you can apply for the internship at your hometown or where you feel comfortable. When applying for the internship you just have to take signature of the faculty or hod to work at the hospital

Placement Experience :

After Master degree you can apply for the placements, as for my psychology course after industrial psychology you can apply for jobs but if you have clinical psychology you have to complete your phd degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm paying 90,000 for my masters in psychology course. It has nice infrastructure and the registration fees is 100rs. For other courses as for data science it has 3 lakh and for designing it has 6 lakh per year.

Campus Life :

Overall my campus life is very good, better than my graduation life. The campus provides you comfort amd also it has many canteens where food is good and you can make yourself comfortable there and also campus has very good environment.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is very good, near the college, not much distance. Hostel provides you with good security and the food is very good. Hostel members helps you in every possible way. After 9:30 gate closes which is normal.

Admission :

I have applied in many colleges but some people told me that they don't have placements and the teachers are not so attentive. Then someone told me about this college that they have good placements and the faculty is also very attentive.

Faculty :

Faculty is very good, if you need any help regarding the course, you can approach them any time. The psychology department is very helpful, teachers are so good but some teachers are not good at teaching so you have to manage on your own or can approach to your seniors.

Placement Experience:

The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.

TISS provides assistance to students for their placements. The summer, lateral and final placements see participation from all the top brands in the country from various sectors. According to the 2020 placement report, one in every five students of the batch got a salary above 25 lakhs with the median salary of the batch being 20.25 lakhs against a course fee of 1.15 lakhs making it an unparalleled institute when it comes to placements with a very strong ROI.

Remarks:

Symbiosis School of International Studies, in short, was the biggest mistake of my life. It's not worth spending 5 lakhs. I've heard that they increase the fees by 10% every year. Apart from the hostel which is managed by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, nothing provided by the college is worth the money. The health centre is even worse. They don't check the patients on time. The medicines prescribed are either too strong or ineffective.

Remarks:

There's nothing much to complain about the college. It is optimised in its own way. The placements should be increased and the college must work on it.
