university management is perfect, everything has its own department of queries and our complaints are taken seriously and easily resolved through RMS and queries are given the solutions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum is perfect it not only provides us knowledge but also builds confidence and experience of a few this in our life. we have to give presentations for our Class Assessment(CA), which builds our confidence in speaking in public and improves our soft skills. We are given written assignments and research projects, to work on them and make the new researches, so as the student learns its capabilities. University conducts the exams in a semester system way, two semesters in one year. There are two types of exam Mid-term exam of 40 marks and an End-term exam of 70 marks.Final result is based on the End-term Exam(50%), Mid-term Examination(20%), CA's(25%) and attendance(5%).
Placement Experience :
The student who applies for placement classes are giving the chances to get placement from university, they are taught about how to talk in an interview, improves their soft-skills and when the companies come you get the announcement on the LPU touch app by the university and you can apply. Placement for every course is available, and you can apply in both Indian or foreign companies and MNC.
College Events :
Our University had organized one of the biggest science events in January "106th Indian Science Congress" from 3rd January-7th January 2019 on the theme of FUTURE INDIA Science and Technology. It was graced by the presence of Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi; Cabinet ministers including HRD, Law, IT, Science and Technology visited LPU within 24 hours of each. Nobel Laureates and scientists from all over the world helped the millennials in imbibing the scientific fervor for shaping the emerging research in science and technology. ONE INDIA and ONE WORLD is an annual fest celebrated in March, where thousands of students from 28 states and different countries, gathered together to show the diversity and culture of different states and countries, to show LPU as a Multi- diverse University.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
mine fees for BA(Hons) are 35000 rupees per semester and 70,000 per year. There are different methods of paying fees by Paytm, online transactions, paying in the account through a bank, and cash payment. My first year whole fees were 1,30,000 rupees with the hostel, rest the books and other stationery things are different.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
yes, I have opted for a sports scholarship and gave the LPU-NEST exam of scholarship. For LPU-NEST we just had to give exam and on the bases of marks, you will own have to get the scholarship and for a sports scholarship, you have to give the physical test and on the bases of your level on which you had played and represented yourself.
Campus Life :
I am having an amazing campus life with the complete diverse university having student from all over India and more than 50 countries. University provides us all types of extracurricular activities and has a different in charge who are expert in their field and different types of competitions are organized like interschool,inter-university, All India University,inter-hostel and others. Debates, poetry competition, Public speaking, and other competitions are also held
Hostel Facilities :
mine hostel fees for a 3-seater cooler was 55,500 rupees. We are provided proper security, but the hostel timing in winter was 5:45, which enable us to spend time with our friends. But if you have joined the Division of Student Welfare(DSW) then hostel timings are extended for you for your curricular activities
Alumni/Alumna :
They are very helpful and never let us feel alienated. They treats us as their own classmates and equal to everyone not as a junior.
Admission :
I came to know about Lovely Professional University by my best friend. In April I applied for admission, admission is taken by an entrance exam LPU-NEST, I had that exam in may in Hisar. After the result I was eligible for admission, I filled all the forms and documents at their office in Hisar on May 30, 2017. on June 15, 2017, I had my fitness exam for a sports scholarship and the visited for the first time in university, I cleared the fitness test and got the scholarship of 5000 rupees. I joined the college in august 4,2017 and got my hostel room and paid the left fee which was 29500 rupees, and I was a student of this University from August 4, 2017.
Faculty :
Faculty are easily accessible in university, they are given their own cubicle in the block, in which they teach and whenever we have any query we can meet them in their free slots and they resolve all our queries. We have their contact numbers for emergency and E-mail Id for the submission of assignment as the last time of submission used to be till 11:59 Pm.
