- Our faculties and career guidance centre and even the placement cell provide support for both kind of students one who is looking for campus jobs and placements and other who is looking for his higher studies or government exam preparations
Dislikes
- College exterior campus has turned old now and outdated. Ground of our college isn't so nice.
- Library of our college doesn't seems like library at all.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college holds a best record for specially mechanical engineering whether in terms of placements or higher studies or government exams cleared students or participation in various kind of activities, project based learnings implementation of new technologies in studies to make students flexible with both core and tech knowledge. The only thing fault in our department is that our department building is quite apart from other departments. It's too apart actually that feels too deid over their. And due to which we see regularly those same faces again and again with no new meet-ups with other department talents. Another thing our department holds the least number of girl candidates as compared to any other branch and that's actually usual for every college in mechanical engineering.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides good quality internships for every branch candidates. Our college provides an open elective course choice for the students from 3rd year due to which even students from their particular branch they can gain the knowledge of other branches also. Recently we were offered a paid internship from Wipro we are been regularly offered the eduskill internships even if we are interested in personal internships college guides us to where actually we must try for it that can make your resume effective. Every week college conduct training and placement activities in which students are been guided for internships companies their required skills so that it makes easier for the student to recognise the actual place where to intern.
Placement Experience :
Our college holds best placement records in south western region of maharastra. Our college holds a highest package of 41 lakh per annum and an average of 7 lakh per annum for tech branches and 6 lakh per annum for core branches our placement sell is currently the most imp and appreciative pillar of our college that provides quality opportunities for students interested in campus drives. Our college even guid for the students those who aren't interested in placements but for higher studies or government exams. They guid them to achieve their future goals.
Fees and Financial Aid :
For normal General category students the fee structure is as follows: tution fee 84783? well development fee is 12400? and adding this both becomes the total annual fee for a OPEN candidate. In case of EWS,EBC(open students with income less than 8 lakh per year),OBC,SEBC for these category beneficiaries their tution fee is concessed till 50%. i.e. 50% of tution fees (84783? - 50%) and 100% development fees (+ 12400) and so a grand total for this category students seems like near about 60,000?. In case of SC,ST category students this category students don't require to pay any tution fee and development fee i.e. 100% concession on both tution fee and development fee due to which their total annual fee looks like not more than 1,000?
Campus Life :
There are various and number of clubs organised by the students and they conduct various activities and sessions in the campus that results in social involvement of the students in other activities and even develops their skills in extra caricullam activities. College conducts annual festival every year in February end and March start and every sem there is a youth festival by any club.
Hostel Facilities :
College hostel have good facilities with mess quality little poor. Hostel provides attong wifi good designed rooms for 4 students in one room with good Structure. Actually college hostel is within the campus due to which there is safety for both boys hostel as well as girls hostel. Our college have many hostels to provide safe stay for the students applying for the addmission from far away places.
Admission :
Addmission process in our college has been conducted through a central addmission process via CET choosing KIT over other colleges because KIT is currently the best college in south western Maharashtra region with a good environment of climate as well as studies with good natural people. Even though there were very positive events for my interest, KIT holds the best possible records for mechanical engineering, which made me choose KIT. Actually, the cut-off for mechanical engineering over here was high as compared to other colleges though the seat vacancies were much over here. Due to this even after 3 rounds, I didn't get KIT for mechanical hence I decided I would go through management, and without paying any extra donations I got mechanical over here by only paying full fees of the general category.
Faculty :
Our college is Autonomous due to which our exam pattern and conducting durations aren't decided by any university and our college is free to conduct the term exams whenever they feel relevant. The design of our course and academic structure is brilliant and for each course what knowledge must be given to students that suggestions are been taken from experts and many recruiters to make our students industry ready. We have one of the best faculty unit to be honest they have very good nature, patience, helping, guiding, skilled and talented. Our exam pattern is like 2 ISEs 1 MSE and 1 final ESE for every sem. 2 ISEs marks are been counted in internals that together contribute 20 marks. 1 MSE of 30 marks in been conducted like a exam but even those marks are been considered in internals well the ESE(end sem exam) 50 marks this exam is considered in external scores and total of these parts of exams results into 100 marks in which 50 internal and 50 external.
