The college campus is neat and clean and provides a great environment for the students to study. The staff is helpful and very cooperative which makes acedemic activities very efficient and easy.
The lab is modern and provides all essential things for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very relevant and makes the students well prepared for not only jobs but also for the real world. The exams are very regular and quizs are held regularly which make students very efficient and competitive

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided to the students who are having good acedemic record.Big companies provide internships to students which gives students the exposure and makes them fit for these jobs. These internships also provides financial assistance to the students.

Placement Experience :

The college provides placement to almost 80% students in different jobs.The packages vary from 250000 per year to 800000 per year.The students become eligible for placement in 6th semester.Different companies like Intel ,HP etc give placements to the students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee is 30000.This includes every expenditure.Although we have to pay 2000 hostel fee per month seperately.The college also provides scholarships like NSP and other scholarships.some of these scholarships are based on acedemic results

Campus Life :

The campus is very good . It is very clean and neat and green . The college library has all sort of books essential for the course .The students are also encouraged to take part in sports and other activities

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is nice with clean rooms. The rooms are big and neat. The mess provides healthy and clean food with different things on the menu . Hostel is affordable for all sort of students.. Registration process for the hostel is simple and offline.

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

I applied directly for this college as this is the best college for this course . This college also provides other courses like BCA,MCA,MSc it etc. The admission process is very simple you have to apply online on Kashmir University website.

Faculty :

The faculty is very well qualified and friendly they provide a friendly experience for the students to study. The exam structure is competitive and there are 2 semester exams in a year. The semester exams are divided into internal and external exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Each & every course have its advantages and disadvantages. If we talk about the science streams, students need laboratories & everything in the laboratory. But we dont have proper laboratory equipments. That is the biggest consequence

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes I was influenced by my cousin brother who was ex student of this college he told me that this college is good enough for your personal development The overall curriculum prepare us for real world because teachers relate every thing with the practical base Yes this college should improve lab infrastructure Frequency and timing of exam is weekly based and depends upon how many units you have prepared

I chose this course because of my interest in Mathematics. There is no shortage of faculty. (For example- In our practical class we always have 2-3 teachers). All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method is quite good. Our college follows a semester system(I.e. semester exams occur after every 6 months). One has to work hard to qualify for this semester exam.

Glimpse of Shri Pratap college, Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The campus is allotted for PhD students for their research works. In my course a lot of students got internships. Many national and international companies often offer various programs offering students a job opportunities. Companies on average give above 20000 packages to students. About 40% of students get govt jobs. I want to study further and apply for the teacher post.

Beautiful city with beautiful college

Admission:

When I realise that I am going to to take admission in this college I was too excited because it is not so easy to take admission in this college and living in the city like Jammu beautiful city I don't think it's possible for me that time then I decided that I have to work hard and I will take admission in this college

Placement Experience:

College is not maintaining 100% percent placement but they are having a good internships and their providing us with a very good academic so that we can find it ourselves also and we can can also do PhD so that we can do a good job in other things

Remarks:

In rainy season the drainage system was not as sufficient as it was to be. Due to rain the water sometimes enter the college.

Admission:

While our family has studied there, so I also get admission there. My uncle l, my father has also studied there so they tell me that the college is very good for your future studies and my school friends were going to take the admission there so looted that college.
