My experience in Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology & Sciences

Dislikes

  • The hostels are really dirty and the rooms are really weird looking.
  • The mess food is just down bad. No one should eat that.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is well structured and it offers a great overview on the required topics. The curriculum prepares you really well for the real world applications and further educations. This college is really good for studies.

Placement Experience :

The placements of this collge is really good. The average is around 5 lakhs per annum and it can go till 44 lakhs per annum. Someone from our college even got 4 crores in google, switzerland in 2012..

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am paying 80,000 INR per semester for this course. I have no idea about the reservations part as I am a rank student. My other classmates are paying the same fees. The college doesn't provide any scholarships or aid.

Campus Life :

The campus life is really average. The sports room is in construction since 3 years and some say it will never be done. The sports team is really getting angry on this part. The library is big. You can find any book there. The clubs are trash so don't even try to join one.

Hostel Facilities :

There were 4 beds, 3 chairs, attached bathroom, sink and mirror, 4 closets and 3 tables. The room is really small for 4 people and the warden takes the biggest room for himself. You are not allowed to bring kettle or table fan. The table fan should be necessary as the weather gets really hot in summer.

Admission :

The fees of this college was lower than the other colleges and the ranking was good so I had to slect this college. I got an offer from Manipal and Lovely university too but I couldn't go there due to my financial situation.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is 75-1. The college provides really nice professors who understand you and teach you. Ofc there are some professors that are just pain in the back but all the colleges have some of those. There are 5 exams per semester (5 subjects) and if a student fails, they have to give retest.

Other Applied Colleges

GITAM School of Business | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Financial Markets)

The fees was too high.

Placements should improve. Internships and industrial tours should be provided to students to get experience. Apart from this everything is okay. Most important they should provide placements to the students, this is very very important. I hope my college will improve in these aspects.
