The faculties of the department are very dedicated. Lab is also quite good. Good practical experience.
For social interactions hansraj is one of the best colleges of India.

There are no such reason to hate this college. It is one of the best college of India.
College authority is very strict with the Attendance policy. Even they organised parents teacher meeting for those who are short of attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main syllabus is provided by the Delhi University and on the basis of UGC curriculum. The syllabus for both theory and practice are beautifully designed by the prominent professors of DU. And they give equal weightage to the both theory and practicals. More over research projects are also included Minimum no. Of exams. Difficulty level is low to moderate

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 26000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I don't know such companies because I have never appeared in such interviews but I have heard from the seniors that many paid internship are also included. Also DU specially organise DU VC internship for which many hansraj students are selected every year

Placement Experience :

6th semester only I have no idea of the companies but electronics and Computer Science department got highest number of campus placement along with B. Com. Honours. As other science and arts subjects have very less probability of getting picked up through campus placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Around 26000 per year. And yes it is increasing every year to year. You have to pay the exam fee, which is around 2000 per semester. Yes there are many internship and scholarship opportunities. Every department have its own scholarship program

Campus Life :

It is a VERY good college which have a annual grand fest which welcomes the well known top singers of India. Annual fest is named as Confluence. This college has many societies so students have a very good exposure to everything Moreover the alumni are also very helpful and some most prominent personalities like Shah Rukh Khan is also an alumni

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is very good. Although the fees are relatively higher than the other colleges but hostel experience is one of the best for the students. The alumni association of the hostel is very strong and the environment is very good for students and meals are also of good quality

Hostel Fee : INR 110000 per year

Admission :

This is one of the best college for graduation in botany of India for boys. In cuet I have applied for botany in hindu college as first preference and hansraj as second preference. I got allotment in hansraj in the very first round of the counseling so I took admission in this college only. Admission process is online and through CUET ug examination

Faculty :

The faculty to students ratio is quite good.. there are around 15-16 faculties in our department moreover there are guest lecturer assigned for some subjects like SEC, VAC etc. Professors like Dr. Anand Sonkar, Dr. Vijay Rani Rajpal, Dr. Monika Kaul, Dr. Satyakam Guha, Dr. ishwar singh, Dr. Romila Rani Bisth, Dr. Pooja Jha Maity, Dr. Maheshwata Saikia, Dr. Sahil Mehta are Best. There are only single internal exam and the final end term examination

Best college in South campus. Recommended for Maths major

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Ramjas : A "che" to the "mistry"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Jamia Millia Islamia a multi Cultural university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
