- Canteen facilities are good, there are many stalls inside and outside the college.
- Rest areas are there in the scorcing sun , there is a beautiful pond in campus.
Dislikes
- Fees is too high and increases every year, no electricity generator in working condition
- No college gate since the year 2008 and it is a government institute.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The cirriculum is very well organised howerwver the professors fail to complete the syllabus every year. The last week will be of a bullet train speed trying to cover few topics and complete the syllabus irrespective of the students understanding.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are done outside the colleges always, there is no facilities for internship in the college. Placement cell is dead and only offers to the Civil department because the Placement cell HOD is now Civil Dept HOD. There is always partial discrimination between the branches here .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is Rs 14500 from 3rd Semester onwards and for First year it is Rs10500. There are Scholarships from the government like Ishanuday Scholarship for the Econimically Bacward People of having less than 1 lakh Salary per annum of any working parent. Other scholarships are Pragati (for girls) and ST/SC/OBC reserved Scholarships.
Campus Life :
The campus life is dead. College is 5 km away from the main town. It is a village area where the college is placed so there is nothing other than sit in class or canteen. The indigeneous tribe of this area where the college is situated are very rude and i dont like it at all.
Admission :
I wanted to opt for IIT or NIT but due to my poor performance in the JEE exam i was forced to come to this college by our state organised engineering exam. I want to go to business after this as engineering is not my cup of tea and not in my interests anymore.
Faculty :
The semesters are said to be of 6 months but it is completed in 4-5 months. Mid sem is a exam conducted for the internal marks of the students. 30 marks are taken from this exam and 70 from the Final semester exams held by ASTU.
