  • The college is newly opened so it is under construction and for that reason the availability of classes are less.
  • The placement cell is comparatively poor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well I always dreamt of being a journalist so I choosed this course. If it's about print media then they prepare you to the best but if u want try ur hands in electronic then u should think again as the practical lab for anchoring is not run properly. They should start focusing more on practical rather than theoretical learning The mid semester timing is 1 hour and main semester is done for 3 hours. You'll fine difficult if you don't know speed writing. As the questions are easy but lengthy.

Internships Opportunities :

Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik jagaran, Ipac, Jansuraj, India today, ABP news, AajTak, durdarsan etc and there are various companies and news channels where internships are offered. But mostly are unpaid or with less stipend.

Placement Experience :

Students get eligible in end of the 5th semester for campus placement. Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik jagaran, Ipac, Jansuraj etc and other newspapers companies 4lakhs is starting highest package and average would be 2 lakhs 30% only get placement I'll do job after my graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Talking about the total fee of this course is 35000 which includes admission charges as well. Each semester you'll be charged 5 to 6k and in a year approximately 10k. The fee is comparatively less then other colleges as it is central university. There are other scholarships available for OBC and sc/st category students. Another thing which is important is that you'll be charged for books you take form library on the university. Bachelors students can take it freely for 20 days master students can take it for 30 and PHD can keep it for 45 days approx and after then they'll be charged 1rupees a day.

Campus Life :

Republic day, indipendance day, foundation day, 2nd October, sports day, and other cultures and seminars are commonly happen every month. The library is best who is book warm. Smartboard, AC, projector etc There is special sports faculty which lets students Play various games. The students union is run but it's not of college. They're AVBP.

Admission :

I didn't applied for any other colleges. I only applied to this and got selected here. To get admission at my college you need crack cuet first and the fill the form of this college. Then merit list is realised and according to that the admission process is done. Just bring all the documents mentioned in admission letter and be ready to answer why are opting this course and college as the professors ask you on the councelling day and on the same day the admission is done.

Faculty :

Well the faculty at media department is really friendly. They guide life family. And students tends to build familer relationship with them as they are very open minded and amiable. I really like the HOD of my department ' Anjani kumar jha sir' as he's an honest and straightforward man. I also like the only female processor of my department 'Uma yadav ma'am' she's so kind and liberal teacher. She inspires all the girls. There is no such faculty member I don't like as everyone is nice person. At bachelor's level there are 12 exams. 6 mid semester and 6 main semester. Both the exam are easy if you know the art of writing and if you don't the teachers will teach answer writing in class. Barely students fail this exams. The course curriculum is relevant for media industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 3 star to the course curriculum in terms of revance and comprehensiveness. Because the options are limited because of old education system. The exams and their timing were not so good because it's too late and unexpected.

Placement cell excellent in there job they are able to bring more 50 company to visit campus offline. And more than 100 company online. But In my opinion Company that visits Amity University doesn't give proper placement offer for Btech students.
