Course Curriculum Overview
BMS promoted as a mini mba was some motivation. offered better placement opportunities than BBA, but its justed a toughened up and rigorouos bba only. difference is that bms allows taking up electives 2 sems before the bba students. the curriculam has from basics to advance of particular subject matter, which is enhancd with different project works forcing student to interact with the masses and enter into the markets for interactions. more foreign languages should be introduced along with french and on ground factory visits and expert talks should be done. exams happen after 2 months the mid sems and between and during the sixth month the end sems are completed. the internals can be given throughout the semester
Internships Opportunities
the cdc carrer development cell provides internship opprtunities for the student seeking internship as a requiremet for their college degree. it is during the 6th and final semester for my program. its either the company they arrange, where u get a chance by sitting and passing through thier interview or one can look out for the company of there choice for this certificate.
Placement Experience
there are certain tie ups of college offereing placement ot undergrads, many take but mostly refuse it for either further studies or justing taking care of their family buiness. Highest package was around 6LPA and average was something about 2.5LPA last year the % is lower as very few go for opt in option id like to do my MBA further
Fees and Financial Aid
total fee for 3 year program is around 435000 year fee is thus 145000: 20k Admission, 5k Caution money, 10k Alumini fund, 20k Resource fee, 115000 Tution fee and 10k Exam fee. bus service requires a payment of 12500 per sem. (regardless of distance from cllg) entering any particular club may demand a petty fee (couple hundreds) none sc/st candidates in BMS so far (people go for BBA mostly) little concesion given to student with markers cup: students with 9+ cgpa
Campus Life
fantastic infrastructure, fantastic clubs and programs. there are particular students who u encounter in all events but they manage it hell well. so no problem. be better, then youll be given chance too. friendly people but only if u want to be a part of each others circles. if u dont bother, nobody will bother u too. initially if u try making connections then itll grow, it may be slow but itll grow, but if u dont noone would mind your existance. great fests, and club programs on every wednesday. clubs like dance music literature social service being the most active and the secrataries of these clubs led by the cllg champion. therrs a football ground where different matches have been held bastekball and vollyball matches, àtheater for cinema appriciation film club etc.
Admission
my elder cousin were there in the college so i got there too. didnt applpy anywhere else good admission process, lengthy and messy, but now it seems fine. i scored cut off i dont remember i scored good in 12th and all my batchmates are meritous too, so...
Faculty
its good that for a class of around 48 student in BMS in which many has opted for different major and minor subjects enough attention is paid to all the students who consider coming to the classes. after 1st year when Majors were taken the class of 48 divided into 4 groups HR Marketing Fincance and Operations, with average class size of around 15. Many good faculty Mr Maheshwari: gem of a teacher, makes us understand the topic. teaches marketing Mrs Sinha for HR, Mrs Khare took economics, Many not so good faculty Mr Kashif baig, he had quit in 4th sem Mr Jain, dont get what he speaks Mr khare also quit, was toooo professionals Mid sems then End sems, Marking pattern 40(Internal)+10(MSE)+50(ESE) Mid sem can be a project based paper or written too depending on the faculty exams are mostly set on the basis of whats been dicussed in the classroom, so they're easy for attenders. ppts are shared, books are recommended, issued by lib. internals are rapport based.
Interview Experience
a PI was there taken by the our program lead with general question regarding the basics of the subjects, interests and future plans questioned why to get admitted to this particular school, the school of management. a small discussion about hobbies etc criteria is a good percentage and fee. the admission cell called for the interview a day before and i just revised my 12th basics.
