- Condition of computer labs are not good. Computer are not working.

Course Curriculum Overview :
This course combine many field for the further future path decision. like you can go for electronics core, software ,communication , vlsi and many more. curriculum can't prepare you completely for real world application but you can go for further academic pursuits. Still there is a big diffence between gecgn and LD teaching level is not that good and curriculum and teaching methods are also behind by private university. In every semester there is a one mid, internal and external viva and one end same examination. exams are not that much difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
SLTL,Masibus and Streamline control company come with internship opportunity. Streamline gave stipend of 25k for 4 month internship for a role of QA and hardware engineer and SLTL and masibus doesn't gave any stipend.
Placement Experience :
The admission process start from 7 sem. During my final year of college companies offerd package fro 1.8lac to 4.5lac. around 4-5 good core company and other small company from near by college. Companies which came are eInfochip, Teskun, Optimized solution, schaeffler, masibus, sltl,etc. only 15-20% students get placement through on campus placement drive out of the student who sat for placement. I also sat for placement but i doesn't get my expection and i was also planning for master so i go for my masters.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Tuition fees=750 Library fees=25,Workshop fees=75 these all are government fees. Now the fees taken by the nongovernment(By college) is Gymkhana fees= 180, student welfare= 250,Internal exam=125,training & placement=25, alumni fees=50. This total cost around 1500/sem or 3000/sem. For girls, fees structure are same but the not have to pay tuition fees so they have to pay around 600/sem and TFWS student also have to pay 600/sem.
Campus Life :
In GECG no technical or annual festivals take place. In college there is a club like IDE club, GDSC club, and this year club IBER started in elctronics field. In college library range of books and journals available for all branch and wide range of topics. In college every year one sport compition take place in which cricket, badminton, kabaddi, table tennis,vollyball, chess but there is not very good facility. There is on bad thing that still college doesn't have good infrastucture classrooms are nasty and college doesn't even have proper ground and auditorium.
Admission :
I applied in Nirma,LD and VGEC but due to my acpc score is not that much which reqired for get admission in this college. I got confirmation from ldrp and git but i choose GECGN because i also want to pursue master so i choosed government college. I got admission through ACPC. Its for gujarat state student. ACPC create merit list based on 12th board exam and GUJCET exam marks. you can get also admission through JEE score.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is around 12-15. facult are easily approcable they helpful upto their capability. Nisarg bhatt was one of my favorite faculty besacse he is so polite with everyone. There is also some other good faculties like jignesh bhavsar, nitiraj chhasatiya,ravi butani,sandeep rajpu,tetc. there is also some faculty who is some time doesn't help properly and doesn't answer properly i don't want to highlight any perticular faculty. The exams are not that much hard you can easly pass exam just buy solving previous year question papers. But some student still fails in exam no is approx 25-30. The course is still relevant upto some point but there is also some space for upadate in carriculum.
