- Infrastructure of the university was very good compared to other govt universities in delhi. We had ACs, Lifts, CCTV cameras, Car parking, Smart Boards, Wheel chair accessible, tables and chairs were very strong and well maintained.
- Variety of subjects and career line that this course provides is very vast. There were subjects for storytelling, movie making, animation, video and photo editing, graphic designing, sketching. We also had time to time educational visits.

- Placement is not very good as it is newly established university so you cannot be dependent on university to provide you with jobs and internships. You’ll need to it for yourself and help your batchmates.
- Faculty members are not permanent so it is quite hard to connect with them because either they will leave or you’ll have to study 2-3 subjects by same teacher.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it was quite new and unique. It was first time seeing a course like this. This course provides a vast range of specialisation. I would say that it did introduce alot of topics, theory, history and basics of design but they are not studied in dept. Exams and practicals were held after every end semester and they were not very difficult. All the notes were provided by teachers so you can easily score good grades in exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our course was new at the time of my admission and we didn't had any access to information other than university's website but i would love to help others. So i got admission in OBC category and paid same fees as my batchmates. But for other categories such as PWD/SC/ST the fees was 41580 for first year and for other categories fees was 47250. In second year fees was 45140 for PWD/SC/ST and for other categories fees was 51300. In third year fees for PWD/SC/ST was 49900 and for other categories fees was 56700. I should mention that they will provide you with time period to pay fees but if for some reason it is delayed you will be charged 1000 rupees per day. As i said it was newly established university at the time of my admission and not many companies knew about it so placement was not great and you were more dependent on yourself to find internships and jobs which is still same to some extent. Companies which did come for internships had 15000-30000 pay according to your experience.
Campus Life :
We had alot of fun activities and functions in our college like Ethnic day, Bollywood day and other patriotic festivals. Every month we had at least one fun activity planned either in campus or outside like visiting museums, historical monuments, art galleries, park visits. In starting we didn't had any library in our campus but now we have a small library on the top floor of building which is accessible to everyone. Many clubs and groups were formed but not every club survived. But yeah we had a sports club, theatre club, dance club etc. Out of all these i would say theatre club is the one which is well maintained and strategically formed. Even sports club do a lot of activities and competitions within eachother or competes with other campuses. We had smartboards, AC and lifts which was nice.
Admission :
I applied to alot of colleges like Jamia, JNU, DU, IPU but because of alot of competition and high cut off unfortunately i was not selected in almost every university except Jamia. I was selected in Jamia for BA korean but by the time i got selected in it i was also selected in DSEU so i had to choose between both courses and choose BA Digital Media And Design because I thought to myself that i can learn any language after competing my graduation and also because i wanted to bring my creative side out. At my time admission was merit based with meant 10+2 and 50%+ percentage. After i was selected i was called to main campus in dwarka to submit my certificates that i got in my school for extra curriculum activities such as dancing, drama and debate. They helped for getting admission quickly and also added some percentage to merit.
Faculty :
As i said faculty members are very good and helpful. You can reach out to them and they will not decline you. If you have any doubts you can call them or text them and I'm sure they'll help you with it. Only few members are permanent and rest are guest so it is possible that the ones i name might not teach you. Mr Ashwini is the department co-ordinator and he is very kind and always ready to help. Ms Manishi taught us 2-3 subjects and did amazing job in it. There were alot of great teachers and everyone was unique in their own way so I don't think there was any member that I didn't like. For some subjects we had exams and for some practicals and they were not very hard. Failed students were failed because they didn't come to exam or semester. So they had to reappear in exams which happened with juniors and exams were easy if you studied and nothing was out of the syllabus. Course curriculum is very relevant and systematic.
