Dislikes

  • Some teachers make use of google to search things and says to write it by your own
  • Gymkhana facility is worst, either it is full or their is co-curricular course going on and they don't allow other students to play, either of the time it is closed

Course Curriculum Overview :

1) The one thing which influenced me for choosing this course is accounts, I love the subject accounts and I heard that their is a good faculty for accounting here 2) The curriculum prepares us for both course related subjects and communication related subjects, their are great opportunities for Presentation developing skills, business communication skills , developing skills and many more 3) Some teachers teach just like they want to complete the portion which is fine which their in every college 4) Exams are done on time and the duration is good we get enough time for studying

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees is 24415 Tuition fees- 10000 Admission fees- 300 Development fees-500 Lab fees- 1400 Other fees like, Gymkhana fees-400 E-development-150+20+150 and also Elective courses fees - 3000 Examination fees - 2900 Computer practical fees- 1000 Industrial visit fees - 500 Utility fees -500 Id card and library card- 50 Etcetera....

Campus Life :

1) Spectrum is the biggest event of the college which pre events starts in October and other main events starts in November it is an amazing festival We really enjoy it 2) There are 2 libraries one is open access and other is general library, In open access teachers take lectures also and it has all course related books which you can take, the other library has both course related and other stories novels etc which is accessible by anyone if you have the library card 3) The technology is good, all classrooms have Good working fans and lights, projects is their in all classes, classrooms have A/C facilities for courses like bba , mass media , masters 4) College is weak in sports facilities as we dont have any campus, gymkhana is always either closed or only available for Co-curricular course students 5) Students council organise many events and they also file any greviences is occurs

Admission :

1) I applied for jai hind college, Kelkar college and Hinduja college along with mulund college of commerce as i got good 87.83 percentage in 12th 2) I thought I would make it to kelkar college but couldn't got admission for 1.5 percent and got mulund college of commerce in 1st list so applied here 3) Admission process was simple you have to check the merit list if you are eligible you will recieve a message and you have to visit college fill the form and other formalities, pay the fees and you will be added to the college group, students mostly prefer self financing courses in this college like Baf,Bbi,Bba,Bfm etc

Faculty :

Faculty is good, specially Nitin sir of Accounts is a very good teacher, highly experienced and always supportive towards children Shilpa thakur(Head of the department) Is also a very good teacher and very co-operative Alpa mam is the worst teacher I dont know how she got the opportunity to teach here, she is always asking students to search on google and tell to write answers on your own, exam pattern is good their is also language included, their is a subject called co-curricular course in which students have a wide range of choice to choose which course they want example - football, volleyball, painting,NSS, and many more

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was taught pretty well as the syllabus was interesting because Pillai's is an autonomous college. There are total of four exams conducted throughout the year in which 2 are unit tests and 2 are Semesters and the papers are set quite average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose that course because in the future I have to do MBA so graduation is compulsory and I found this course easy. The faculty members are so supportive and understanding. They understand students' problems. And their teaching is also so good and understanding. There is always revision before exams of every subject. The student ratio is also good like in one class there are more than 100 girls. And yes it was easy to give exams and even pass the exam. Because the teacher used to tell every single important thing in class and use to repeat so it was very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum seems to be old but the topics are well structured. We have a lot of teachers for different courses. The professors of our course are very humble and explain all things very clearly. Teachers try to cover all syllabi on time so no topic is left untouched. All teachers are qualified and have good experience except a few teachers. Exams were easy this time due to covid and exams were delayed a bit, but it usually happens as per timetable given by Mumbai university.
