Remarks :
KC college is a very good college that has a perfect balance of academics and extra curricular activities and I would like it to remain the way it is.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Although it is a bit old and outdated now, It provides just some basic knowledge about basic accounting, general economics and a few other subjects. There isn't specialization in any 1 subject, as the course is a pretty generic one. The course is mainly application of accounting in different ways.
Placement Experience :
KC college does have a placement cell in which students can enroll themselves for college placements. Personally, I haven't enrolled myself as I am working elsewhere already but I do know a few people who have got college placements and I feel that's a very good thing that the college is doing.
College Events :
KC college has many streams and courses and so many different coursed organize many different festivals and events. Some of the major events are : Kiran, Joule, Blitzkrieg, Fiestron, Sports Day, Annual Day, Traditional Day, Freshers Party, Farewell, Youth Summit etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Since KC college recieves government aid, The fees are very low. Even the unaided fees are pretty affordable to almost every student. Apart from that, girls get more concession till the 12th grade. The fees are adound the range of 3,000 to around 40,000 annually.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I haven't opted for any scholarships, but there are scholarships available for students who are in need for it. Also, Since KC college isba government aided college, many course's fees are subsidized by the government.
Campus Life :
Although KC college doesn't have an enormous campus like what many colleges do, it has a pretty good campus life. At any point of time, students can be seen around the campus actively engaging in some or the other activities. There is a sports room which has many indoor sports, there are many science labs and computer labs too.
Alumni/Alumna :
KC college has a very impressive alumni with many renowned personalities that have studied there. Even the seniors are pretty helpful in terms of getting juniors accustomed to the college life.
Admission :
Online Admission Process by State Government. Students have to enroll themselves and enter their marks and choice of college as per the course. Then merit lists are published according to which admission is granted. Students still have an option to confirm or to wait for another round.
Faculty :
The faculty is very learned and has a lot of experience in the teaching field. Mostly all the professors are high ranking teachers with heavy accolades. The entire faculty at KC college is well deserving and one of the best in the entire city. Apart from the in house teachers, we also have some visiting faculty who mostly are working professionals but also have the passion and expertise to teach students about the field they specialise in. That gives us in depth knowledge.
