My B.Ed journey

B.Ed helps us explore the world of teachers. It helps us become a better teacher for the upcoming students and also become a better individual most importantly. It grooms us in such a way that it helps us understand both the point of view of the teacher as well as the students.

Pre-internship in the 1st semester. It is mainly only for observation purposes and not teaching. The final semester is all about internship. Rural and urban internships. For the urban the teacher assigned us various schools where we teach for a given period of time. For the rural we get to choose our own preferred schools and places.

There are various clubs and ever class is provided with projector for teaching and to use for presentations and seminars as well. The overall activities conducted in the college builds a student to be more confident and active which is a good trait

Main hostel provides really good meals, good and comfortable accommodation. Single rooms for all. Water is sufficient. And there is only girls hostel no main hostel for the boys. The hostel is just located near the college 2-3mins walk

An entrance test was taken, and students were given chances to choose their preferred college as per the merit list. I choose my college because it's one of the most reputed college among the B.Ed colleges in Nagaland and since it's government college,it's also cheap compared to other colleges

Faculty ratio - 1:50 Exams taken once every semester Exams are not very tough to pass. Internal exams are taken ahead of external to prepare the trainees. All the faculty members are well trained and qualified and everyone has their own unique teaching style
