- The administration makes sure that the students are well behaved and properly concentrating on their career goals
Dislikes
- While the institution is more of discipline oriented it is not flexible in terms of doing stuff other than academics( that is being away from classes)
- If you are student , then you are going to get good academic marks if you follow the instructions of the faculty , however you may not get placed if you aren't working on your own as the college gives no to less training and exposure to technologies.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The aspects of the curriculum which made me choose was the endless possiblities with my course of Computer Science, and the curriculum does not prepare you for the real world applications or further academic pursuits that is until you are trying to pursue masters in that case it does help the improvements required are to bring in more practical methods or more lab sessions rather than just black board and chalk piece interaction , the frequency exam well I think there should be a good gap between mid 2 and semster exams
Placement Experience :
From the 7th semster you become eligible for campus placements that is if you have no backlogs and have a fair CGPA ( better to have above 8.5) AWS,INFOSYS,TCS ,DARWIN BOX , TYPEFACE AI,INNCIRCLES,CAPGEMINI. As per the report the campus high package is about 26LPA (AWS) and average package is around 3.6LPA. well the last year about 65-75 percent of students got placed. My plan is to get a job and then try for an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid :
well I am presently in my final year and yes for all the years till date I have 79,300 INR and the lab fees and building fees and admission fees are all included in this however the hostel fees and transport fee have to be paid separately since they aren't covered under the fee I pay , I have paid around 40-45k per year for my transport fee and hostel fee also depends on the room and the requirements we have , well most of the people in my class have the same fee however there is a scholarship for the fee for those students who are financially challenged and there is no additional scholarship provided.
Campus Life :
well technical fest is named different for each department and since my department is CSE it is known as CURSORS(well till date) it is typically held at the month of March or April. For the accessiblity of books you will need a library card ( to borrow the book from library) and after that you will be able to access any book and mostly you can read any journal and book with no restriction but if you are borrowing then you might need library card The facilities are very basic but sometimes there is issue with the projectors. For sports we have basketball court and also ground for cricket and also we have indoor games like table tennis , carroms and chess. well coming to the clubs we do have them but I specifically have no knowledge about them except in my Department there is a coding club and there are events held by them and it motivates me to code better.
Admission :
I applied to VR Siddhartha and GVP as I was ranked 5221 in AP EAPCET 2021 but I didn't get selected and I put ANITS as a last resort and got the seat in it . The cutoff for the colleges I applied for is generally high so I didn't make into them. The admission process is simple, firstly I got through EAPCET counseling so I can say only that part of the counseling so yeah firstly after the counseling if you get alloted into the college then you will receive an allotment letter and you will have to report as a part of phase 1 after accepting allotment you will have to wait for the phase 2 of counseling result and at this part of this reporting you will not require to pay anything and then after phase 2 you will have to go to college with required documents and yes you will have to pay at this phase counseling and after paying the fee you get admitted inot the college
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is well maintained and the faculties are approachable for the most times with low to no resistance by the faculty , coming to the faculties I like they are none as all of themhave only theortical knowledge and no one has the practical knowledge or the ones I liked have left the college and no longer are available to the college , coming to exams well there are technically 3 exams that is mid 1 and mid 2 and semster end exam , well most of the time the exams aren't that hard and very minimal number of students fail the exam and yes they are based on curriculum
