- The facility and infrastructure of the college and my department is good all the things that is required to perform the experiment,etc is available in the labs.
- The college has refreshing zones throughout the campus which helps us to get refreshed in off periods so that we stay fresh
Dislikes
- The time taken for some work to finish for example if you have some issues with your fees,etc it might take you months for the thing to get resolved
- The campus sits on top of a hill which makes the students wake a long hard time getting to their respective departments
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I knew I needed a good faculty and a good laboratory for the course I chose which the college provided me with, and since for further academic pursuits I would need those things very importantly which is good for us. The teaching methods could improve if the college put microphones in each classroom and the rooms were big enough. The timing of exams and the frequency are good enough as they prepare us for the competition in today's world.
Internships Opportunities :
There are more than 50 companies each year for the placement for different programs out of the 100 courses the College has around 30-40 courses with last 1 year with an internship of approx 10000- 30000 INR.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is 100000inr and for 3 yrs it would be 300000inr, the security deposit would be 10000inr the admission fees are 30000 INR and the administrative fees are 40000 INR, the 1st-semester fees is 30000inr and from semester 2-6 is 40000inr each you can get the last semester fees waived if you pay the 3 yrs fees at once during admission( implies General and OBC) for ST and SC the last semester is paid as an scholarship. The fees are increasing each year.
Campus Life :
There are technical festivals throughout the year and annual events occur in the months of January-February. Our college has a library with over 10000 different books of different categories the classrooms are well equipped with projectors and A.C. in some classrooms. The college also provides badminton courts, a swimming pool, a basketball court, a tennis court, a football field, a cricket ground, a volleyball court, recreation areas, and many more there are over 25 groups like the astronomy group, gaming club, sports club, etc. There's even a student portal for the students where all the information for the college can be gotten.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility was good it had washing machine and even free gym and swimming membership. The food quality was average and didn't meet the expectations. Now since I moved out the hostel I chose a pg 200 meters away from the college which is easily accessible
Admission :
The eligibility of my course was 60% above the 12th standard. The application form can be found on the campus or on-line too the dates are alloted by the college every year during the admission time, since the college was private during my time of admission there were no entrance exams and so and from 2024 the college is semi central so entrance exams and so are introduced. The improvement in the admission process would be fastening the process as it takes several hours for 1 student to get through the process.
Faculty :
The department of biotechnology has 12 faculty members which would be 1 teacher for every 3 students in my class which is quite good as the teachers are well educated as all of them have a Doctorate degree and are well experienced with over 10yrs of experience minimum which is quite essential for the students we students can go and interact with the faculty any time if the day as there is no time alloted for interaction with the teachers even the teachers interact with us if we have any sort of query or so.
