Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good . The first semester of every year is for 4 months and the second one will have more duration compared to the first because we will be having 1 month summer holidays and a technical fest in the second semester. The syllabus needs updation but the curriculum will be helpful for gate aspirants.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come for internships for students for example for ECE students in BE ,They get internship opportunity from MATHWORKS and for ME they get internship from INTEL. Similarly for all othjer branches also core3 companies come for internships.

Placement Experience :

The placements are okay but not very good because the Training and placement cell only share the company opportunities to the students which come by seeing the reputation of osmania university and they do not put effort in going to varies companies and asking them to come.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

when I joinede the fee was 35000 per year but it has increased to 50000 the following year. The registration fee would be 9770 which is non refundable. As I am eligible for fee reimbursement due to my rank in the entrance exam I donot pay 35000 i get it as a scholarship from government.

Campus Life :

The IEEE society chapters are good they conduct various competitions every year and every branch will have its own committees like IETE Electronics club for ECE etc. Every year Annual Technical Symposia will be conducted which will be organized by the fourth years of each branch at their departments seperately.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good for GIRL students the food id good and the repairs and will be solved quickly after you write a complaint in the register. The fee is also very reasonable it would be around 2000 and less every month.

Admission :

If you completed your 12th you need to write the entrance exam called EAMCET where as if you complete your Diploma you have to write the entrance exam called ECET. The cuttoff ranks vary every year but on an average for ECET the cuttoff rank would be 50 and below (branch rank) and for EAMCET it would be around 5000 .This is for ECE branch.

Faculty :

Some faculty are really good they provide support in projects and hackathons you participate but the thing is you have to approach them. Whereas some contract lecturers do not take classes and leave us with giving important questions at last.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is rated as average . Because the relevance and comprehensiveness is not upto the level of students midset (like most of them). the curriculum and the speed of covering syllabus very fast which is not understandable for most of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
