The pharmacy college-Rajkot

Dislikes

  • As it is government college the number of student in each class is quite more ,which I don't like personally
  • Generally campus doesnt play any role related to your study but it is not big enough

Course Curriculum Overview :

As the pharmacy is related to drugs, this course is quite similar to MBBS where you have to learn everything from anatomy to physiology, I guarantee one can fully prescribe medicines to patients ,detect disease based on symptoms and can provide guidance to needy after this course.

Internships Opportunities :

No internship activities, college sometimes conduct industry visit only.college's work In project is quite good, you have to compulsory perform project in your last sem on any topics and you also get mentor for that, apart form this one can do project under title SSIP.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The complete cost of education for girls is less compared to boys. The total cost for girls is around 5000 while for boys it's around 7000 but it's very less I think . Students can get a variety of scholarships based on their caste and income criteria. In master's, you can get stipends but in undergraduate, there are no stipends.

Campus Life :

An annual function is held every year which is arranged by 3rd-year students. Every type of book is available from pharmacopeia to subject-related books in the library. Every classroom has a projector, board, and camera facilities. Sports activity is very less in this college, there is no ground for that purpose.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is the bare minimum to can get a bed, cupboard and one chair, and a large table. Mess food is similar to all the hostels. The registration process is quite simple because only pharmacy students who are college students can live here.

Admission :

One can get this course after the 12sci+guject exam. Application form fee and dates everything is done online, you can also do it offline. The college also provides reservation benefits for OBC and Sc St.Every semester you have to take college as well as University theory and practical exams.

Faculty :

The faculty here is of top quality. Most of them are phD graduates, they also cleared gpsc and some of them are also selected for drug inspector. The nature of all the faculty is very good, and excellent and they provide all kinds of information and help whenever any student needs it. One can anytime go to them and they'll be like what is the problem. Also, their guidance helps in many ways in teaching as well as for career choices.

I choose bachelors of pharmacy because there is a lot of scope in pharmacy even in India. Anyone in foreign countries like USA in Canada and Australia, anyone in Europe countries, I like pretty wide open scope for pharmacy. Why choose the pharmacy is relevant in any time, even if it's like Corona, or even any any time of the month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected a Bachelor of Pharmacy in LMCP (LM COLLEGE OF PHARMACY) because the government & first pharmacy college in Gujarat was established in 1947. and also I want to become successful in b.pharm. faculty: students ratio:: 1:5. all faculty have a doctor of philosophy qualification in a particular department. and teaching session was conducted regularly with excellent practical & theory-based studies. in b pharm, there are 8 semesters and each& every semester has 6 month time period.
