Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum including plant name quiz and planting trees on time make me choose this field which enhance me to take that course so I can improve my knowledge regarding plants that help me in my future if I pursue research field. Every year departmental trip is planned by the teachers to enhance the students knowledge regarding their perspective course. The semester is completed with 4 months I think this is a major drawback of college as the duration must be for 6 months to complete one semester. The projector must be there in each class so students easily understand through visual methods which is more effective methods to understand the topics .The labs need more improvement i.e.microscope , lab projectors etc should be of good quality.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies through which students get placement with good amount. The b.com,bsc Hons maths students get more opportunities for getting placement as compared to other courses .The package which is provided by the company is okay i.e. delhi university does provide good placement .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The first year fees is approx 15000 2nd year fees is 16416 3rd year fees is 18166 The fees was increasing year by year. I applied for bsc botany hons in year 2021 . The fees of all the candidates of my batch is same ,there was no relaxation regarding the fees but college provides several schemes/scholarship to the needy students. The examination fees per semester was approx.1300 .There was no extra fees for labs etc

Campus Life :

The departmental fest of botany is samara which is held in March every year .The annual college fest is Mosaic which is also held in March month of every year. The library provides enough books of every course .The infrastructure of library is much more good having ac and computers and is well lighted library .The previous year question paper is also available in library. The peaceful environment of Libra make every student to study properly. The classrooms needs to be projector in every class . Time time many sports turnaments are held in sports ground of college . The student portal is active provides notification on time.

Admission :

On my time the eligibility of taking admission in du for bsc course was on 12th class marks merit based there was no entrance at my time and every student must contain 60%marks in the class 12th . I found the admission form on samarth portal .Everything was easy for me to fill the form and everything at my time. There is reservation for obc,sc,st category ,defence quota etc.

Faculty :

The ratio between students and teacher is pretty good.the interaction between them is much effective.the mentors of department take mettings on time and also solve the queries. The teachers cooperative with students and make them help in every situation .overall the faculty is good.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Last semester students are eligible for the campus placements. Although this college offers placement but not a surety for the same. The average package is 5 lacs andthe highest is 23 lacs as of till now. After graduation you may give the entrance exams to get admission for the masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course syllabus is good and better then some of the other courses. This course helps and prepares students for the real world application as it is a practical course and have all the industrial related topics in it. In my opinion the college should offer more industrial vists for the students. The difficulty level of exams is Average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
