- The quality of infrastructure is quite luxurious we are provided with every facility here. All different culturals of students and other people are present here through which we get to learn many things different cultures.
- The campus of AIIMS Rishikesh is quite big enough. At a surrounded with greenery mountains and very nice weather throughout the year. There are many learning facilities all sorts of lapse it is computer dissection hall physiology lab library patholog
Dislikes
- Sometimes the weather here can be alerting due to high level of rainfall in the mountain and hilly regions. The road traffic accidents are quite common here due to Hilly areas.
- For some students it can be a quiet far place from their hometown. You can get home sick and we need authority permission to take leave and get it approved.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to study in the medical field it was my dream from childhood. As I was unable to get qualified for the neet for mbbs. Therefore I choose this nursing stream of medical field to flourish my career. The curriculum of nursing is very practical as we get taught in the real situations of hospitals therefore it prepared source for the real world situations. The exams taken in AIIMS Rishikesh nursing college BSc honours are divided in monthly midterm and final or professional exams. We teach exams practicals and viva are also taken to enhance or practical skills and the way of working with the patients and hospital. The difficulty level of exam is quite moderate you can get past easily if you have studied and concentrated in the classes. We require more than 50% combined internal and external exams to pass. The area of giving vacations and the whole year planner should be in concentration so that the students don't get workload and hectic schedule.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities available in AIIMS Rishikesh BSc nursing honours girls are quite vast. The internship is provided in the 4th year and we can also get hired temporary and other AIIMS. From the starting of first year till the last this type and is also provided each month. For first to third year this typing given is 500 per month whereas during internship it is 13250 per month. We can also go for the foreign companies and studies through AIIMS and SNA membership. After the four year course we need to give the NORCET exam, through which we will be given the job of a registered nurse. Right now I am in 1st year so the experience of internship is not known for me but I am sure it is very helpful and learning experience for our career.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Aiims Rishikesh Nursing college is a government college is very low. It is 5000 for four year. It is approximately 1250 per year. Most of the facilities are free in AIIMS and only the hostel fees is taken 500 for 4 years and mess fees is calculated monthly accordingly. No other extra charges such as Laplace or caution fees are taken. Everyone has to pay the same amount of fees there is no differentiation for the category. The number of marks through which admissions are done very according to the category general category has to score more marks than the OBC or SC ST category. Initially a DD certificate has to be made of 25000 but that fees will be refunded in future. There are scholarship programs available for students those who want to go in foreign purposal studies and experience.
Campus Life :
Various fest programs and social events are held in AIIMS Rishikesh annually. Last year Pyrexia and invicta were held. Pariksha is a cultural fist in which many big celebrities musicians banned games and other events are organised for all students and outside students of AIIMS. Even Darshan Rawal came for the concert in 2023. Invicta is a sports cultural event where different kinds of sports like tennis cricket football volleyball badminton etc. are played and competed with other AIIMS or other mbbs or AHS students. Social events are also organised such as poster making wall painting debates Rangoli competition role play nukkad natak. We also organise small events to socially aware the people about different sections of the medical health care. The central library present in AIIMS Rishikesh is vast and has all varieties of books of different sections from MBBS to nursing to paramedical and has a large number of sitting arrangement for students to study.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities and AIIMS Rishikesh for nursing girls. The girls are provided with the different hostel apart from the boys and MBBS students. We have our own mess system, where breakfast lunch dinner and evening tea are provided. The message present inside the hostel only so we don't have to go outside. Canteen is also present if we need anything. We can also order foods or take it from the MBBS mess if required. The monthly fees of mess is calculated every month according to the amount of food consumption. From 1st to 3rd year the rooms for 2 hour allotted and in the last 4th year everyone is given single room. We have a common washroom with proper hygiene and cleanliness maintained all over the hostel. These hostels are affordable with no water and electricity bills. This menu can be reach arranged according to the majority of students. The quality of menu is good according to the price.
Admission :
For taking the admission in AIIMS Rishikesh BSC Nursing College post we need to take the exam conducted by AIIMS only. The conduct this exam each year for girls only. After scoring the passing marks within each category you get qualified for the counselling list. The few number benefits are given according to the category of each student. There are two rounds held ground one and round two and then open round is again conducted to fill up the empty seats. You fill the priority list all the aims all over India according to your priority and then the counselling result will allot you the AIIMS. You need to go to that AIIMS physically and verify all the documents along with the medical status. After all the documents verification and medical you can get admission in that AIIMS. If you don't like the AIIMS you can go for second round. If you don't take the seat and the allotted aims and second round then you have to pay the fine for living the seat empty. 11 and 12 course included.
Faculty :
The AIIMS nursing Rishikesh college is a renowned Government College. The study material provided here and we teaching qualifications of the teachers teaching here are very professionals. They have qualified the exams and came from different renowned colleges such as AIIMS Delhi also. Each class each batch has their own coordinator and coordinator with different teachers for teaching each subject. The teachers here are friendly approachable and caring. They know they are subject very well and teach accordingly. Various technology's are taken and to teach us. Hospital and clinicals rules and regulations and patient care are also teached. Monthly we have a mental mental session in which we can discuss are problems with our mentors and they will take care of it. We can also share our personal problems personally. If we need any medical help the teachers and batchmate are very helpful. The hospital staff is also very skilled and professional.
