Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to be a researcher in astronomy which made me opt for this course namely BSc Hons physics. If you are really passionate and studious, only then you should opt for this course as it is a heavy course. It is indeed hectic but if you study it with all the regularity and sincerity, you can ace in this career as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees are minimal for this course for my college. It would range from 10,000-25,000 depending upon the college and campus. Since there is no hostel facility in the college, students have to reside in PGs which can be found easily near the college. The scholarships are mentioned on the website of the college and can be availed by filling out the application form once it is out. Campus employment was nil since it's not a professional course. However, you can later go for research opportunities in various institutions.
Campus Life :
Classrooms were good but our labs were great with all the facilities and friendly staff. The library contains all kinds of books. You just need to go through a deep search using online software. Talking about fests and programs, you can find such departmental fests every other day at college, it is actually fun if you can enjoy it all. Sports facilities are also great. You can go and play any sport in your free time. Clubs and various groups are also there which you can be a part of.
Admission :
During my admission, it was completely based on the merit list criteria. The process was pretty easy. Also you can get reservations if you belong to respective categories. Since 2022, the admissions have been done on the basis of CUET UG score.
Faculty :
The faculty of my course in my college was undoubtedly experienced with 4 of the teachers being the senior professors having great research and teaching experience. They tried their best to have interactive lectures. Also, the class was of 30 students, so there was individual attention for every student.
