First thing first that is our professors are very friendly to students. They teaches us very carefully
Second thing is our college has many type of competition, fest, freshers, indoors and outdoors games, so students can involve themselves

Dislikes

Firstly our campus it is not so big, so that's why most of the students did not choose the college during counseling
Second thing is communication life. Our college is in odd side so communication is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview :

After the pandemic situation people are besically depends on software, so for this I choose this course and this college offers 70% of placements which is better than any of other private colleges so I do choose this college

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yeah so the total fees is 4,50,000. First sem 78,000. Second sem 63000 and rest of the semester 51500. And here SVMCM or every types of scholarship is available. You can fill up to 3 scholarship. And about our highest package is besically 10-12 lpa and average package 5-6 lpa.

Campus Life :

Our college has a yearly fest named by impulse -(year) and also there is a freshers competition will available for 1st years students. Indoors and outdoors rooms are also available for our college. Our library has every types of book and students haven't buy any books for studying. Faculties are very good in this college. Clubs are also available for coders and also social club is available. Campus is not so very big .

Admission :

You can get admission by WBJEE or JEE-MAIN. One should rank with in 40k in WBJEE to clear the cut off, and also Kota system is available for those students who wouldn't have rank under 40k. There is all about our addmission process.

Faculty :

Besically there are 35-40 teachers who teaches us various subjects of engineering, and students are about 600. So the ratio is perfect. And they teaches us like they are our private tutor. They all are good.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
