A good girl's guide to a good college

I have chosen Doctor Of Pharmacy, and it is a medicine based profession. We learn to deal with patients and counsel them with regards to their health. From 2nd year onwards we are assigned hospital visits which improves are communication skills, confidence, knowledge and much more. Students should really get stipend during internships which helps a lot of students not only financially but also it motivates them to work harder. Also they should teach and prepare us for competitive exams which will boost our career. We write 3 sessional exams, each of 30 marks which are internal marks, and a final exam of 70 marks, in both theory and practical. The exam difficulty depends on how well the students study.

The tuition fees for students who have come through competitive exams, including everything, reaches 1 Lakh, so it would be around 5-6 Lakhs for the whole course. And those for the management students the whole course costs around 12-13 lakhs. The college provide various scholarships for the students. Domicile students have different scholarships and students from different states have different scholarships.

There are a lot of celebrations such as college day, major festivals, celestial weeks, fresher's day, farewells, few birthdays and much more. There is absolutely no lack of entertainment and mind refreshment. From second year onwards there also sport events that take place. There are debates, dances, etc that also take place. There are also industrial and hospital visits for greater exposure. Various games such as throwball, volleyball, kabaddi and more are played during the sports events. There are project works in the fourth year as well.

The approximate cut off through kcet exam in this college was around 25 thousand. Students scoring 60% in physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for this course. The application form can be either found on the official website of the college or students can get admission through entrance exams like KCET, etc. As I have mentioned before, there are 3 sessionals of 30 marks each which are considered as internal marks and one final exam of 70 marks both in practicals and theory. The exam difficulty depends on the preparation of students. The faculty provides complete information about the course during admission and are very well-spoken.

The faculty is well educated and provide good information and notes. Also they are very easy to aproach and they are really supportive and always ready to clear our doubts. They take complete interest in our betterment and work hard for our future. They also give life lessons which are very much necessary for us. Overall they provide good mentorship.
