My 4 years of BBSBEC

Dislikes

  • Baba banda singh bahadur engineering college is affiliated with the punjab technical university which does not have a better academic record as there are so many drawbacks in the academic system of the university
  • Baba banda singh bahadur engineering is a home to students with different cultures and religions which sometimes causes conflicts among students and mostly within bihari students

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are mostly three tri-semesters followed by a final semester exam a mid-sem test is held after every one month or something every 20 days and has a mark weightage of 24 which makes it very easy for students to qualify and prepare themselves for the final exams which helps at the end of the semester and is conducted by Punjab technical university itself which have a weightage of 60 marks in which 24 is the qualifying marks which also is very much doable.

Placement Experience :

I am planning to study for my JKPSC exam once I finish my degree and once I finish my btech in computer science and engineering I will teach students from my area as a tutor while i prepare for my jkpsc exams so that I can earn for myself as well.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 135000. I got government scholarships. There is no campus employment for someone in his undergraduate but someone pursuing a PG degree has employment options for teaching new batches with a good salary and they can altogether study for their PG degree as well and can also get paid by teaching other classes as well.

Campus Life :

There are few student portals in baba banda singh bahadur engineering college especially for computer science students there are is a Google Cloud Club, there is a red hat academy club and few ither groups which are headed by the senior of the cse department for improving the skill sets of if the new students and encouraging them to new opportunities.

Hostel Facilities :

First-year students getting admission to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College get alloted a room in one of their finest hostels named AALI SINGH hostel which is a 3-bed room having attached washroom and balcony with a water purifier at washing machine provided alternatively at each floor. The meals served in the college mess are not good and at the same time not bad there is a breakfast meal followed by lunch and then dinner at night for boys and for girls there are snacks in the evening. To get an allotment for a hostel room students have to fill out the form from the hostel office and then they are allotted a room. There are many affordable PGs and rooms available nearby the campus and the locality is full of facilities everything is available within walking distance.

Admission :

There should be a diverse approach when admitting students as most of the students on campus are from bihar but there should be students from local areas as well and from other nearby states as well there should be more scholarship opportunities for students with financial hardships.

Faculty :

Being a student from Kashmir often join the college a bit late and still my interaction with teachers and other students as well is very approachable whenever a student has any issue they approach their respective mentors who provide all the possible assistance to the students to deal with any issue they are facing and overall the faculty members are very helpful and can be approached anytime without any hesitation.

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
