Remarks :
Some may not like the mess food but you can directly communicate the suggestions to mess committee. And the only bad thing you will find is the location of the college which is on the very outskirts of the city.
Entrance Preview :
The best available college that I had based on my marks. And on top of that, it had a good placement and comparatively lower fees. Also, I was left with NMIMS HYDERABAD, IBS HYDERABAD AND XIME KOCHI. Among these I found this to be the best option in terms of fees and location.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the official website of IMT Hyderabad, you can access the curriculum. Also on the first day of the commencement of the course, you will be allowed a Student Handbook containing all the rules and information about the college and also the holiday's list.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, it provides internship with an average stipend of Rs. 12000. The process is smooth and various colleges come to the campus for GD and PI and if you are good they will take you. And once you are selected by a company you are out of the internship process. Then you have to go for that particular company or self-generate an internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good with an average of 7 lakhs and almost all students get placed. The companies start coming from August and the placements go on until every student gets placed. So far out of the 300 senior batches, 19p already are placed in companies like Zomato, Delloite, Amazon, Capital first, Hdfc Bank, Icici Bank, etc.
College Events :
Impala: Cultural Event Various clubs of the college also organize various events under their banner which keeps the students engaged. Various sports events like 1.IHL- Cricket, TT, Volleyball, Basketball, Football 2.Ace Connect- Corporates come and compete. 3.Periodos: Intercollege sports event
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure is 12 lakhs for 2 years including the hostel accommodation and food. There is an instalment system which has to be paid for 2 years. It's very feasible as compared to other colleges. The fees include all the necessary expenses and hence is very practical and affordable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Various banks put up their stalls for providing loan once the registration for the college starts. The stalls are put up generally near the mess area and parents/students can approach them for the desired loan scheme.
Campus Life :
CAmpus life is chill. You have classes from 9:30 am to 5 pm 5 days a week. On weekends practitioner sessions or workshops may be conducted. The gender ratio is 1:2 and people come from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and other states like Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess food is very decent and the menu keeps changing every month. There is the different dish for every day and on Sundays special food like biryani, Chole Bhature etc is served. Its a proper mix of veg and non-veg delicacies. Hostel rooms are single accommodation type and also in very good condition.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, they are very helpful as there is soon going to be a website launched where we can connect with the alumni and senior students. This will help in expanding our network and also our alumni will help us in ways regarding placements and consultancy.
Exam Structure :
It's a trimester structure where in 2 years you have 6 Terms including the 3 months internship. In each term, you have to give 2 exams. One is midterm exams and the other one is the final term exam. The evaluation also includes your assignment, class participation and your rapport with the faculty.
Admission :
First, I gave the XAT exam. Then based on this I filled the online form for the admission process from their official website. Then I was given the option to select the location where I need to be present for the process. They emailed me the details of venue and time where the process was conducted. The process included a Group Activity where we as a group were given a topic and we need to come up with a solution together after discussion. This was followed by a Personal Interview.
Faculty :
From the official website of IMT Hyderabad, you can gather information about the faculty of our college. Also, there would be a student online system where you would be given login ids and passwords. After logging in you can see all the relevant information like your attendance, subjects, evaluations, and faculty. It will be like a teacher-student interface.
