- Locality and the city is under development and will be igreat to live at within the next 3-4 years.
- Doesn't have a guarantee in internship provision and if does it is paid by student internships.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and curriculum are as of all universities but the exam system is quite lenient. Like for example here we have 1. MST(Mid-semester test) and 2. EST(end semester test) along with 3. objective test on computers and 4. internals. All having a weightage of 25 marks per subject making a total of 100.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides least no. Of internships in terms of unpaid and only to high scoring students and rest have the chance to do by paid means or self. The internships are less in number so students are mostly dependent on self approach but have to submit the offer letter for resume addition.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure for engineering has an increment of 5% every year with per sem fees starting from 1lakh 6 thousand approx. The hostels are provided on the basis of CGPA criteria...they are quite expensive as each student is provided single room with a flat system of 3,4bhk.
Campus Life :
The campus is highly interactive and there is alot of exposer with work, students can both study as well as explore the environment along with participate in various clubs formed under seniors and is of various forms .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is a bit strict scheduled and does not show any liniency, there is no canteen separate for hostels, There is a lounge area and fully air conditioned rooms are provided. Its quiet expensive compared to the hostel fees and there is no food included in it too.
Admission :
The admission process was quiet great by my side, even if they exaggerated the placement criteria but they gave me the right choice of my stream while I was confused in 2 options. There is no such examination from Amity, you can directly approach if you have cleared the eligibility criteria, for 12th its above 60% and a great score in mains ( for engineering) can provide you with scholarship for the first semester.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 1:70 approx. The teachers provide alot of help with one on one interaction and study material. If yoy have a good interaction and nature with your teacher...they might help you alot more... Just need to stay dedicated towards our study.
