Science Teachers nd the lab facilities were good to have us a good chance to study and practice the practical properly
Most of the teacher and lag assistant were very helpful ful

The toilets were not cleaned properly and unhygienic
Drinking water arrangements very poor. Hardly used get cleaned even once in a year

Course Curriculum Overview :

From the beginning I was very interested to take chemistry and the college teachers and the learning process had a positive influence on me to think I took the right decision. Internal exams were weekly basis and main exam used happen once in a year

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees were not much and well organised structure in terms of financial aspects. But at that time not much of offerings were there in terms of scholarship or other. Total fees was almost Rs. 20000 in total. So all could afford to take admission if the criteria matches. That time no campasing used to happen. So we didn't get any chance to appear for any employment interview

Campus Life :

Overall experience was good all through in my tenure. Used happen lot of sports indoor as well as outdoor like cricket , football, carram, volleyball, chess. After study there is a very good opportunity to explore your other skills in sports

Admission :

Eligibility was the science percentage of 10th and 12th exam which should match the criteria of the candidates. Reservation were not there, but financial benefits were their for sc, st and OBC compared to general cast. Admission should be online to stop any kind of outside influence in the financial things of the college

Faculty :

Faculty was good and impactful towards teaching and driving the students towarda their educational goal. Most of the science class were interactive. Had regular interaction wherever we had doubts in any topic

I selected this course because I am naturally interested in computer science and moreover computer science is a very good course . The curriculum is very holistic and covers all necessary topics . The course could more practical than theory is based this would be my suggestion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

All the professors of our department are PhD qualified and also researching on some field now also. They are quite frankly and helpful also. This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. I am in love with this college.

The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads.
