- The college campus, location, premises are fantastic. The infrastructure in the college is well build including labs and sports grounds
- Events like Vasundhara, Aarohan, and other technical events take place regularly.There is one or the other event everytime going on in college. Also technical clubs like Accelerators, Vegapod, CSI benefit students throughout entire college life.
Dislikes
- Syllabus formation, exams schedule is quite uncertain making overburden sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is not so relevant sometimes. It feels like sometimes they compromise with the syllabus just to reduce load but it makes a disadvantage for the students. Hope they make some changes in the syllabus. The syllabus is short and can be completed in the given time. The coding part covers most of the syllabus. The exams are on time.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are quite good. Again companies like Infosys, IBM, ABB, Siemens, Google, etc offer internship courses at MIT WPU. Faculty help a lot thorugh this process and ensure that each n every student gets a good internship
Placement Experience :
College placements are quite good. Companies like IBM, Infosys, ABB, Google have visited the campus for placements. Overall placement is okay. Highest package offered is 44LPA. Thus overall good placements.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Fees for my course is 3,15,000/- which needs to be paid in two installments. College provides upto 75% scholarships. In the first year, it's provided based on CET or JEE Mains score. After that CGPA of the previous year is checked to provide scholarships. It's provided only to the first two toppers of a Branch from each academic year.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure is well-built. Opportunities are also quite good in clubs, and cultural activities. Labs and classrooms are academically fantastic and fulfill the requirements at each level. Festivals like Aarohan, which is Pune's top most college fest, Vasundhara, Hackathon, RIDE, and SLDP.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility differs at different locations. They have a hostel near the college which is not so good. The messy food is okay. Other hostels at Ambegaon and Baner provide luxury and other facilities.
Admission :
Admissoon is taken on basis of CET, Jee mains and PERA CET scores which is taken by the university exam. The application form can be found on the official website of MIT WPU which is a well build website
Faculty :
Faculty members are quite qualified from Degree level to PH.D level and all of them are experts in their own fields. The teaching methods and their guidance to every student are quite commendable. Overall faculty members are good.
