- I liked the infrastructure and size of my campus they were truly amazing. We have a lush green campus with greenery everywhere. There are ACs and projectors in every classroom of our university. The teachers are also very nice and friendly.
- The campus is huge and for that we also have e-rickshaws which will drop you anywhere in the huge campus in 15 rupees. We also have cycles on rent. We have an auditorium and a Mall inside our campus which has everything.There are various eateries too
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to become a data analyst so I chose my course. (BCA BIG DATA ANALYTICS). The curriculum offers a wide range of subjects helping in data analytics. The course is tied up with IBM so there is real-world software that we use and learn on. The teaching could be more deep in some subjects such as DSA where we only studied DATA STRUCTURES with a few algorithms only.
Internships Opportunities :
The placement office offers a lot of internships to get experience, a stipend, and to boost your CV. Companies are IBM, Spotify and small companies, etc. There are projects given to you by the internship that you have to submit and get your stipend and experience.
Placement Experience :
From 3rd year of your college, you are eligible for placements and internships. A lot of big companies visit our campus to recruit students like GOOGLE, BOSCH, CISCO, and IBM. The highest package this year was 72L while the was 7-8L
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Lpu is a private college so it is a lot more expensive than the government colleges. The course fee for 1 sem was 1 Lakh rupees but you can get a scholarship through LPUNEST. I got a 48% scholarship so my fee is 52000 every semester with 4000 exam fee. The hostel fee depends on factors like the seaters in the room. Ac or non-ac. We also have a dormitory. A mess option is also available. Mess is around 30000 - 35000k and a hostel 4- seater with AC is 75000 - 85000 (10k off if you book early).
Campus Life :
There are a lot of fests in our college like freshers then a lot of singers and artists keep coming all year round to keep us entertained. We have a big library consisting of 5 floors so you can imagine the no and variety of books there. We also have computers and Macs in the library. The classroom has AC, fans, lights, a projector, and smartboards in some classes too. The campus has a variety of sports to play like football ground, 3 basketball ball courts in the open, 2 volleyball nets in the open, huge playgrounds, a skating ground, and archery fields then we have a sports complex with having an indoor gym, 3 swimming pools, 2 basketball courts indoor, 4 badminton nets, 2 volleyball nets and many more. There is a separate building for the student clubs called DIVISION OF STUDENT WELFARE. There are various clubs inside and students run it under supervision.
Hostel Facilities :
Ac and non Ac rooms. Non ac rooms have coolers. Wifi in hostels. Cleaners come in alternative days to clean rooms. Canteen inside hostels. Mess food is average to good. The registration process is online and easy. The hostels are expensive tho. There is a locality just next to campus where a lot of students live. It's kind of a students-only area. Its name is LAW GATE AND GREEN VALLEY too.
Admission :
You need to have a 12th passing certificate to enroll in my course. If you want to enroll in BTech or want a scholarship you will have to give LPUNEST. It is a college entrance and scholarship test. There is no reservation in our college. The exam is moderate to hard level. The admission process is overall easy.
Faculty :
The faculty is amazing although a lot of the faculty is new but they are well qualified. A lot of faculty members are phd or post-graduates so they are well qualified. The faculty is very interactive and friendly while remaining strict so there is a good vibe in the classroom which motivates us to study.
