Course Curriculum Overview :

Their was no specific thing, I want to go in cyber sec so I had to take CSE. Actually, this is core CSE, so it dips hand in all the fields but isn't master of any. So it doesn't really train for the real world. I suppose more of practical knowledge is required instead of bookish. The frequecy of exams is mostly depended on the faculty. Mostly it is 60 marks internal and 40 marks of end sem, out of 60, 30 is for mid sem around 2-2.5 months after sem start. The difficulty of mid sems is always higher than the end sems. Rest 30 are based on assignments.

Internships Opportunities :

Gateway, Odysseous Solutions , Netweb, MRI Solutions, SECA Intelligence. they offer job roles as Associate SDE,Junior SDE, Fullstack developer, Data Analyst, and intern SDE. SDE is Software Developer Engineer. These are mostly related to C sharp, Java, Python and web dev languages. I can't mention because I haven't done an internship yet.

Placement Experience :

Placements are average Average package if 4-5LPA. Students can apply from the pre final sem Highest package was 34LPA. Companies are Odyssess, Gateway and Netweb offereing upto 9LPA. Percentage of students being placed are 90% those who appear in placements. I want a job after this degre.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees for our batch hasn't increased but for the upcoming batches it has increased alot. At our time it was 54500/sem but it has now gone to approx 65000. There aren't any other charges apart from the backs, that is 100/credit. So if the subject is of 3creds you gotta pay 3k. Well I don't have much information about the scholarships, the college allows external aids. Like for minorities gov pays. It allows that. I haven't taken any placements till now but college provides internship chances. Mostly it is for web dev.

Campus Life :

Clubs are cultural committe, gdsc, neofolks, then there are minor clubs. Festival celebratd are: Ganesh utsav, janmashtmi, garba, navratri, NuvYuva, diwali etc. There are time to time events hosted some being technical but mostly cultural. Uni also promotes sports, it has teams for volleyball, table tennis, basketball. Rest the clubs organise their respective events whenever they get a chance.

Admission :

The admission process is really simple. You gotta fill the form, pay the fees and you are good to go. Only aadhar is required for admission. For Btech there is cut off of 70percentile in Jee mains. There are seperate exams for B.Arch, LLB etc.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is really low, they tend to leave the college as soon as they get a better offer. Nothing really binds the faculties to the college. Although most of the faculties are qualified, there are some that came directly from teaching primary school to teaching last year students. Don't know how college is allowing this but it is what it is. Faculties try to be helpful but they can't do much as they are not given much powers apart from giving marks to students. I usually interact alot with the teachers.

The students can seat for placement in 3rd and 4th year. The package starts from 4LPA to 39LPA. If you study well and have the skills then you will definitely get a placement and a decent package. My plans is after btech is to go for post graduation.

Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester don't disclose the specific amount and the company is that offered that amount so I can only give you the idea that in my branch there is maximum placement of 5 lacs and the average package was 4 lacs and the students place were 75 or 76% something my plan for after the degree completion is I studies as I don't think that 5 lakh or 6 lakh is appropriate to sustain in the job
