Pros and cons of Hindustan aviation academy

I was pretty fascinated about aircraft and this course is the best decision I took cause after completing this course we can work with aircrafts. In order to become licensed AME u have to clear 11 dgca modules

I'm not aware of any internships provided by college but I've seen my seniors doing project on different parts of aircraft like propeller and engine. Even few of them repaired a old jet engine of learjet 25D

You have to complete 4th sem in order to get eligible for campus placement. AMTTP MRO in singapore, indigo and air india done campus placements. The highest package was 8.4 LPA and average package for freshers will be 2.4 LPA

There's no scholarships for this course even though they assist to get educational loan. Fee is also more it is more than 8 lakhs for 3 years. Once complete the course campus placement is there. Companies from Singapore and various airlines from india also comes for placement

There's only two festivals conduct in college those are ethnic day and infinito which is cultural fest. There's no extra curricular activities. There's no clubs and student portals. Classes are digitalized and also allow students to use laptops. They provide plug points for laptop charging

Facilities provided in room varies according to the people share a room. In a 4 sharing room they provide a TV, Four bed, attached bathroom, closet for each person and two common washing Machine on the roof top

Faculty ratio is good it is 1:6 and majority are retired from air force which make them over qualified. College assign a mentor for 9 students. Mentoring is good they assist check each students and helps them in their academics. Students can interact with teachers through offline and online and they are available in most of the time
