The infrastructure, Faculty, Practical labs

Course Curriculum Overview :

I myself love different culture and their food that's why I chose Hotel Management. The curriculum prepares me for servicing people I don't think there are many areas for improvement. Exams are not too difficult as it is a more of a fieldwork course and more of a practical.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The Leela Palace New Delhi offered me the internship with a stipend of 5000/-. ITC Savoy also offered the internship program with a stipend of 4000/-. Guest service and cooking were some projects to clarify the tasks.

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Taj hotels, the leela, Oberoi, etc. These complaints visited the university for placements. 95% of students are getting placed. I'm going to study higher.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The academic fees per semester are around 37,500/- along with exam fees which are 3000/- and there are some minor charges as well like for the college fest. They gave girl scholarships to female students and they also gave scholarships for maintaining attendance.

Campus Life :

There is an event named Navdhara in which so many guests come and students also get a chance to showcase their talent. You can get every book related to your course in the library. Classrooms have all the facilities available and practical labs are available as well.

Admission :

For HM there aren't any eligibility criteria. You can get the application details on the college website or you can call them. The admission process is pretty quick and simple they attend you very calmly too.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty fine. We do interact with teachers all the time and they're very helpful too. If we talk about mentorship that is absolutely fine they guide you on the right path and help you with the syllabus and weaknesses.

Remarks:

In first year its compulsory for every fresher to take room in hostel. May be its to avoid ragging but in my opinion its all students and there parents choice either they took hostel or PG. Rest i don't have any bad remarks. About good, college is now no.1 in dehradun and having acres in area. Room is easy to get there for students. And i love my college, faculty and the time spend there.
