  • The hygiene of washroom, canteen is also very downgraded
  • its all girls college and if you enjoy coed colleges like me for more interaction then this college is not for you

Course Curriculum Overview :

my course is history honours and i have always been fascinated with history since i first read it in my 6th standard thats why I opted for history honours and the course of history honours of DU is literally the best in all over india, it covers all the aspect of history for ex. history of india, world and etc. the teaching method of proffessors is also quite impressive they provide all the materials you need whther in english or hindi or any othet language . DU is best for history honours

Internships Opportunities :

i have already mentioned the examples of the company but as i am a arts student i am not aware of other streams so i cannot say much about them but if you are capable , the faculty will also help you to internships or project you . i have written many proffesional papers related my course and my proffesors have helped me all the time . i have not yet done any internship as i am only in 1st year and the college provide internships from 2nd year

Placement Experience :

i dont know much about placements but if you are active in college the placement would be easy as professors will also help you and if you are in journalism department then you will get the internships from 2nd year only from big news channel such as aajtak,NDTV and etc and placement will be very easy .i am currently approching for UPSC so the piont of placement is not my concern

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

as i am only in 1st year so i am not fully aware of employment opportunities in history honours but if you opting for UPSC it will really beneficial for you as the always hold seminars related UPSC which helps to keep up with the information . the fees for my course is 10000 ruppes per year and extra fees for examination approx 1500 rupees .

Campus Life :

i have not invovled in club activities but my friends are in different clubs which do all kind of work and ngos work . i am in antakshri club which is really fun , there tons of club ,ncc .buts as i mentioned earlier though the faculty , clubs are amazing but infrastructure and hygiene is poor.

Admission :

if you want to enroll in du you have to give CUET , which is an entrance exam for various universities including du and it is compulsory if you want to enroll in DU you cannot get admission through merit and this exam does not take your much time you can easily prepare for it after your boards as it covers only 12th ncert portion so you dont need to take time off to prepare for it

Faculty :

kalindi college boasts a faculty of highly experienced and knowledgeble professors who enrich students academic journey and personal devlopment . beyond academic roles, these educators serves as mentors and guides, readily offering support and advice to students.their approachability and understanding foster a nurturing environment where students feel comfortable seeking guidance not only on academic matters but also on personal growth and career aspirations and if you are new student in delhi they make sure your stay is comfortable and you are comfortable as a new student in a new city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wad quite good relevancy what was being taught by professor , not just for exams only but for real life as well. There should be internships and placements that need to work upon. But I could say overall it was good

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

6th-semester students are eligible to apply for campus placements. Companies like Bains and Co., KPMG, etc visit our college. Some are known and some unknown. I did not participate in campus placements as I decided to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body. The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.

Placement Experience:

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
