  • Hostels are not very good but manageable

Course Curriculum Overview :

College follows cbme ( competency based medical education) qnd lectures are conducted accordingly. Students are also given opportunity to present topics in class, as in seminars or give power point presentations

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Three types of seats available at navodaya. One is government seat available only to karnataka state students which is about 1 lakh 20k odd, then GMP students or OPN category students paying around 10 lakhs and management seats is negotiable. There are scholarships available for economically backward classes only. And there is no stipend given during internship

Campus Life :

We have basketball court (outdoor) and a ground where cricket football and other sports can be played. There's no badminton court even though they have mentioned in their official website. Volleyball net is provided in the ground. We have few student clubs like rutu chakra for awareness about menstrual health

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are not good. Cleaning done once week Security guards or wardens are not well behaved and we have common washrooms which are apparently very dirty and cleaned less frequently. We also face plumbing and water issues during summer. We do not have drinking water in hostels or anywhere in the campus . Severe water shortage during summer season And in case of attached washrooms we are supposed to pay extra money which would be around 20k

Admission :

Admission process was through kea and cutoff was around 95 with reservation for gmp seats. Also it a telgu minority college so people with a lot of reservations can easily get in. No entrance exams taken only neet marks were considered.

Faculty :

Every department has around 5 to 6 faculty members on an average. And teachers are approacable in case of doubts or help required for research related topics. They also help us make the right decisions and share their opinions about which app or source to refer to

Remarks:

Negative remarks : The hostel can be maintained better. The fests should be improved. Free internet or atleast paid internet should be provided in hostel ,as the network availability is either less or absent in the hostel. Positive remarks : The hospital is good with decent patient input. A new super speciality hospital is coming up soon
