Mess food is sometimes very bad unhygienic sometimes only this occurs
Students are not allowed to go out of the block if they have no class before 12

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are helpful, students have mid-semester tests twice a semester and a final PTU exam The course curriculum is relevant, and students are provided the best hands-on knowledge about the latest technology along with industrial visits which make students industry-ready. Teachers prepare PPT for students to make them understand more easily in depth

Class Size : 44Course Fees : INR 39100 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have done internship from teachnook In clg of our course the mentors from IIT Hyderabad came to train interns with knowledge of primer designing .Students can work with faculty on research projects, Offered every semester

Placement Experience :

many placements are available for students who are good in their studies and got the highest percentage The average package of this course is 4LPAand highest package is 10LPA. The percentage of placement is 90% and over.Few visited recruiters are Wipro ,Verka,Imtech etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total tution fees of this course is 2.47k and semester wisely of our batch it is 39100. There are total six semesters There are many companies which visit for making the students placed in their company who have knowledge.

Campus Life :

There is parivartan every year and is conducted in month of oct-nov . The books needed by the students are available in the library . Multiple sports ground and coach are there Extracurricular activities takes place every month.Many clubs are there like rang Manch club, virasat club etc

Admission :

No there is no entrance exam You can easily apply in this college for this course .In one semester twice mid semester exams occur and final ptu exam . Wecan visit the college for admission there counsellor are there they will guide us

Faculty :

The faculty is well qualified and knowledgeable .The teachers are always ready to help their students in every aspect. Students can frankly approach or interact with students without any fear .Their mentorship and teaching is greatful

The course curriculum is good and the faculty member is helpful and kind. in very rear cases faculty members miss their lectures. I do my BSc at this University. In my department faculty-student ratio is 1/25 .all faculty member is doctorates.

From the second semester the students opt for the placements. For this they have to pay extra sum beside the course fees. There visits a no. of companies and accordingly they conducts exam and later interviews.

Remarks:

Actually I didn't want to do drop after my class 12th like all students of my class were doing but my parents were suggesting me to take a drop and appear for the medical exam but I didn't want to be a doctor so as an alternative I look for a college and I found IISER Mohali best for that.

Placement Experience:

The only place where IISER Mohali is lagging behind is in terms of placement as IISER Mohali doesn't offer technical courses so direct placements to companies is not possible the only sector in companies where students can go for is Research and Development Department.

Remarks:

IISER Mohali gives you value of money. It's fees as compared to other colleges like engineering colleges is very low and almost every student also get scholarship from KVPY or through Inspire. Approximate tuition fees of year is about 70,000. The most important thing the future of students is safe here and due to all these I choose IISER Mohali.

Placement Experience:

Getting direct placements from a research institute is not an easy task and IISER Mohali administration also does not support it that's why after a lot of efforts from students community still there is no placement cell in the college.

Remarks:

IISER Mohali is one of the best research institute in India and also it is a national importance college. My main motto was to get admission in such a college where my future can be secure and IISER Mohali is best for future safe.

Placement Experience:

IISER MOHALI is a basic science research institute. It doesn't offer any technical courses so direct placements from campus are not there. Students after their 5 year degree do their PhD from some of the best universities across the world. There is no placement cell in the college.

Remarks:

My cousin is already studying in IISER Pune and my dream was also to get admission in IISER Pune but unfortunately IISER Pune was not offered to me and I get IISER Mohali in floating option. IISER Mohali was my 2nd preference after IISER Pune.

Placement Experience:

There is no such placement cell in the college. Students mainly go for pHd in some of the best universities across the world like MIT, Harvard, Yale, University of Cambridge, Max Planck etc _ Some students also go for industries job_

Review about D.A.V. college Jalandhar

Remarks:

Overall the college is se like the other colleges of the town. The only thing which is different is that the college is 102 years old, nothing at all. If you have to just read books and get a degree easily without much effort then this college is the best place for you.
