Course Curriculum Overview :

The course duration of BDS is 5 years including 1 year of internship. Regular exams are conducted as per DCI and the college also provides us the opportunity to be an active participant in the IDA conferences to enhance our CV

Class Size : 95Course Fees : INR 1000000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college offers internship and also international programmes. It also provides us with the opportunities to attend various conferences and events organised internationally. The college encourages the students to actively participate in the research work and surveys.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This college has semigovernmet and private seats to offer.The approximate tuition fees for the whole course is around 8-10 lakhs for four years. This is the only college in punjab to offer monthly stipend during the one year internship period.

Campus Life :

It is a Lush green and peaceful campus with 24 hrs electricity supply. Campus meets all your basic necessaties. It also has a gym, auditorium,football ground, cricket ground and some eateries. The lecture theatres are fully ac.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are pretty good and better than most of the medical college hostels. You'll get a double sharing room which you can get customised accordingly. The rent for hostel is around 90k individually. Quality of food served is also good.

Hostel Fee : INR 90000 per year

Admission :

For admission in BDS you need to apply for NEET exam and should pass the eligibility criteria and then via counselling process under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot or by directly contacting the college you can get into this college.

Faculty :

There are a total of Eight departments in Dental college and each department has well qualified faculty members. Recently the college has also started with the implantology. Each faculty member is doing their best to provide us with the best knowledge.

Struggle for the dental students of patiala

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs
