4yrs of experience in KCt

Remarks :

The college management is well governed by a man called Shankar Vanavarayar we call him as JC(joint correspondent). He is the true hero of our college. He will always get the review from students mainly and only he'll proceed further.

Entrance Preview :

Due to its entire architecture, staffs, College freedom, extracurricular activities, live planning, helping students to achieve their goals and to gain outside experience more and more. The main reason I joined this College is that my sister came here for a symposium and she admired the college a lot and I know that mechatronics was too good here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college curriculum was basically built by the college itself, not by any other institutions like Anna University. And it stands up to dated and it comes basically students friendly and students can understand it easily in a way that the staff teaches us.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college will maximum try to find internships for students and also they will guide them to find the best company to do an internship.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities were quite familiar in kCT, they will bring quite familiar MNC's with good CTC. Also, they will help students to find their interested company and they will try to bring them for placements for students. They also give chances students to organise in this process.

College Events :

The major event which is celebrated in our college is called as Yugam. And it is quite family in South Indian colleges. It is a 3-day event and in this cultural event, they include technical and non-technical events, workshops, dance competition, singing competition and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure of our college is reasonable when compared with other colleges. They will credit a certain amount to our ID card and with that, we can buy any required items from our departmental store in our college and also any pen drive, t-shirt, beds, bags and many more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Every year according to our results college will provide Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for every top 12 performers.

Campus Life :

According to me the campus life of KCT is the best when I compared it with my other college friends.and also the level of freedom is awesome. And the gender ratio is almost equal and the diversity here is good. When it comes to extracurricular activities KCT will be at its top where they will train them in every aspect. The labs, debates and robotics, etc, etc, they were actually happening every month through some clubs that was organised by students alone.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is an awesome experience here in KCT. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The mess infrastructure is quite awesome, the mess food here is only veg and boiled eggs. And also quite good when compared with other veg mess colleges.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is the main appreciable thing in KCT. When it comes to a KCTian their senior will always provide guidance and support always.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is quite good. Students can able to find it somewhat easy and difficult at the same time. It is a 50 50 pattern where continuous assessment of 2 internals contribute 50% and the end semester exams contribute 50% to the GPA of the result.

Admission :

According to my twelfth mark and cutoff I applied for Anna University counselling.later they called me for the counselling and then I went Anna University to choose my college, in that process they offered me a lot of colleges but I chose KCT due to mechatronics branch.

Faculty :

The faculty in our college are always students friendly they always supported us in many aspects. Not only by curriculum but also in many other views of our life. The faculty here are highly talented in all kinds of aspects. They not only share their knowledge they also share us their experiences.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
