  • The thing i dislike the most is the condition of the toilets in this campus, it reeks of dead rat and you never feel like going into one of these and there are days where you just hold it in

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum I would say is pretty accurate I have never felt that our teachers were going out of the course curriculum boundary, there were times when they would teach you some interesting stuff that wasn't in the course but I think that was to keep the class interested in the current ongoing topic.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is basically you either pay the whole fees all at once during the admission phase, I paid 45k in the first year of college then the next year it increased to 55k and then the third and final year fees was 70k, you can opt for paying half each semester if you have a valid reason like if you are financially weaker you can just bring a valid proof and avail to pay 50 percent first semester and the next 50 in the next semester. You cannot get admission without paying the fees for the next year if you have completed the first year and the result is published to get into the second year you need to pay the fees.

Campus Life :

The campus is pretty decent and there is a college fest pretty much every month, our department holds the fest called 'TechStorm' which is a tech fest that basically uses your coding skills and tests you in various challenges to make truly use of every percent of your brain, there are quizzes, coding challenges, and online treasure hunt. It is an amazing way to boost your dopamine if you love these kinds of stuff

Admission :

The eligibility is basically you need to have taken Science in your 11th and 12th standard. You first need to register yourself on the Mumbai University website and from there you can choose which colleges to send applications too and fill in all the details related to you and upload all the necessary documents along with caste documents, etc. The application process starts immediately after the 12th board results are released. There is also the facility for on spot admission where if a couple of students leave at the last moment to get into a better college, you can avail of certain seats.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty has completed Msc, I am not sure about more of their qualifications but i know one thing for sure the majority of the teachers do truly have a student-teacher connection and love to teach students, some of the teachers usually make the subject feel like a drag but that's the college I suppose. Most of the teachers are ready to help you if you are stuck anywhere or like need special attention you can just go to their cabin and then ask them personally. They kinda make the teaching lessons interactive rather than just them being the one who talks all the time, they make sure that the class is included and brainstorm ideas which helps to understand the topic even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course BSc microbiology in MCASC is certainly basic considering the curriculum of other colleges providing the same course. There is a need of improvement in the overall curriculum as it does not include research paper reading, instrumentation learning, bioinformatics, etc. The level of difficulty in examination is at a moderate level. The Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) examination is MCQ-based and generally conducted Mid-Semester. The end semester examination ese is conducted at the end of the semester and it has subjective questions as well as few MCQs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ive choose the bsc degree course, because it's has the chemistry specialization in third year, I've not have big interest in chemistry but because chemistry has only scope in future, and according to future aspect I choose bsc chemistry, the course is quite hard and if you have gut to face this you can choose the chemistry in ty otherwise you have options to take zoology and botany in specialization in ty , the first semester is goes very very slow and the second sem is goes like a bullet train very fast the first semester 5 months fills like 10 month sem and end sem 5 months fills like 1 month sem

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course I'd according to NEP because of that bsc is of four years. Faculty members are well qualified and very good in nature. They help in all aspects. The only thing is the course is very difficult you have to work very hard. The student-faculty ratio is 60:1.
