Remarks :

The college was not as good as I expected but, Thier is not any college which can fulfill the fantasy of a 16 years old boy.

Entrance Preview :

This college was not my first priority but as, I did not score good marks in entrance exam which is jee mains so according to the merit list I settled for this college. And there are some plus points about this college, like this college is nearest to my home.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Department is well equipped with laboratories to train the students; the laboratories are ever on upgrade. The department receives funding from UT of Chandigarh, MHRD and Department of Science and Technology, Chandigarh for its various academic and co-curricular activities.

Internships Opportunities :

Actually they does not not provide any internship instead they just let us know and provide the links and everything thing else we have to do it on our own.

Placement Experience :

Placements at CCET are organized and conducted by The Training and Placement Cell with the assistance of students and faculty. Arrangements for pre-placement talks and interaction sessions could be made upon request. But not all students get placed under campus placement.

College Events :

There are very few events which are celebrated in ouu college and the most important one is the Techno-Cultural fest known as Apratim, as the name suggests it includes alot of technical events with the cultural activities. And the other biggest event is sports meet.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As compare to other engineering colleges in Chandigarh the fee structure of CCET is less but still for a middle class family sometimes it gets harder to pay the fees and other expenses regards to college. But still the fee is feasible and acceptable as compare to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is not anything special offering from our college but all the government instructed scholarship ships are available in our college. And you can take study loan from any bank on your own and college will do it's part of the job well.

Campus Life :

Campus life is one of the things which i like most about my college. And talking about gender ratio it's good but as a student of mechanical engineering we never get much in contact with girls. So for mechanical engineer gender ratio is not acceptable.

Hostel Facilities :

Condition of hostel is very bad infrastructure is poor necessary facilities are not there but there is one thing which let the hostelers survive which is wifi, Hostel has a working WiFi connection. Mess in my prospective is quite good but some of my friends which are holsters always complains about the food.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Truly speaking i don't have any idea about alumni network but our seniors are very helpful and kind to help us.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is one of the things which I like about my college there are two sessionals conducted in a semester and best of two is considered for the final results which give us much more flexibility for studying. And we get some marks based on quiz and attendance.

Admission :

First of all we have to appear for the joint entrance exam commonly known as jee mains. And the results of this entrance exam get compiled with the results of the 12th board examination and on this basis final merit list is prepared and counseling for admissions is conducted.

Faculty :

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are highly qualified having educational background from reputed institutions, have rich experience in teaching and research and help the students to excel in the field. But some of the have their egos bigger than their profession.

An honest review of chandigarh university

Placement Experience:

Another main reason which I joined chandigarh university was placements. We all were promised good placements but this was another harsh truth which I got to know in my second year. No one gets placement easily. Girls are preferred more for placements. We become eligible for placements after 5th semester. Most companies which come here offer 3-4 lacs like tcs, Accenture etc. The highest package is which I have seen is 12 lacs but they do adverise that their students get package worth of crores which I hardly believe. When I joined, I was told that there is an 85% of students getting placed but in the last batch alone, thousands of students were unplaced. I am searching for jobs off campus as I have no hope of getting a placement on campus. If I do not get any off campus offer then I will pursue my master's and definitely from a different university.

For third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hitachi and many more companies are visit for placement in chandigarh university. Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

All about the College (CU)

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

My views on chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students will be eligible for campus placements. The top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart etc. But there will be 100% placements to every student. The highest package is 34.25 lakhs per annum and the average will be like 8-12 lakhs per annum. My plan is after getting the degree is to do an MBA.

Remarks:

College is very good in almost all the fields and provides all the needs needed by the students. college management system is really awesome. BAD REMARKS:- There are only few teachers who does not have enough knowledge regarding that subject. therefore teachers must be appointed by really considering his/her skills and knowledge. Overall. CU provides very good facility and enviroment to grow and moving ahead.

Remarks:
